A large beachfront property along the West Coast of Barbados. The property is well secured and located in a quiet residential strip along the beach. The beach is the quintessential Caribbean white sand beach with the picture perfect aquamarine blue seas just steps from your front door. Along with generous lounging and seating areas at the house and around the pool, you will enjoy a prime spot on a mile long crescent beach that will draw you into the water time and time again. The Main level (ground floor) of the building is a 4 bedroom, five-bathroom dwelling with high quality finishing throughout. The total area is approximately 3600 square feet on the ground floor and is entirely on one level from the street through to the beach and is fully wheel chair accessible.

The main entrance hallway, with powder room, connects the kitchen and other principal rooms to the bedrooms. The kitchen is ideal for entertaining and is a focal point of this beautiful dwelling complete with granite counter tops, modern Italian cabinetry, 2 ovens, 5-burner range, and top-quality appliances. Off the kitchen is a spacious laundry and pantry area, with separate access for staff. As you move through the kitchen towards the beachfront, you enter a large multipurpose room that comprises a formal living room, dining room, and TV/family room. The entire western wall facing the ocean is bi-folding French glass doors that open onto a fully covered patio of a similar size to the main room. The effect, when fully open, is Caribbean outdoor living at its’ finest.

Alongside the house is a shared, pool with Roman steps at one end. The pool is fully tiled in a dark cobalt blue color that keeps it exceptionally warm throughout the year. The grounds are well developed with mature trees and shrubbery and there are over a dozen coconut and other palms along the beachfront for shade. There is private beach access with shower and lounging/seating areas. Brighton Beach itself, is a wide, calm beach ideally suited for all kinds of activity. The swimming and snorkeling are very good and you can jog or walk on uninterrupted beach for well over a kilometer in each direction.

The location is excellent for access to downtown, Warrens and the ABC Highway. 5-10 minute drive to most top restaurants on either the west coast or south coast. The property also enjoys fairly good breezes and is an ideal family residence that is protected by a security guard and dog on premises overnight.

Enjoy swimming and living along one of the finest beaches in Barbados. Owners have insider knowledge on many things to do in Barbados and have traveled extensively so can appreciate what people want when away from their main home.

What makes this apartment unique

Besides the obvious beauty of the beach, there is an excellent shared pool on the property with security, covered parking, automatic gate, etc. For those that know Barbados, most of the west coast beachfront properties are right along the main road of the island, Hwy 1. Brighton is a small cul-de-sac enclave that is not part of the main road. No buses and very little traffic in general on the road so it is a quiet neighborhood.
