Lisbon apartment in a residential area with three bedrooms, sleeps five

The sunny apartment overlooking the city, the Forest Park of Monsanto, and the Águas Livres Aqueduct.

The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. It has a large entrance hall, three bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and a bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has two single beds and the third bedroom a single bed. The apartment benefits from double glazing, air conditioning and heating.

The kitchen is also a lot of spacious and well equipped, with electric oven, hob with four gas hobs, fridge with separate freezer, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker for coffee or tea, washing machine and dishwasher, and all utensils needed to make meals ..

The living room has TV and internet and sofas with seating for five people. The two living room windows give access to the balcony where you can have a drink, enjoy the view and relax outdoors in summer days.

nice and cozy vacation apartment in Lisbon

My family and I were pleased to have spent in August 11 days in this apartment. It is well located, as far as major shopping areas and means of transportation are concerned and one can even buy his daily ration of fresh bread down at the corner of the building. The apartment has all the amenities one would need for a short stay. The kitchen is quite sizable and has all the utensils and equipment that normally we have in our own kitchen. We made our meals always in the roomy kitchen as we all felt very comfortable there. There is plenty of light and fresh air filtering through the doors opening to the balcony, though at times we used the air conditioning. The apartment is located in a safe and peaceful neighborhood and it is well kept. The wi-fi in the apartment worked well at all times, an indispensable feature for my family and I as we all spent a lot of time hooked on our Ipads. In one word: we felt at home in this apartment.

The landlady, Ana Esteves, was very kind and helpful and we were very pleased to have had her as our landlady.

I therefore strongly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to spent some time vacationing in Lisbon with the family or friends.

Appartment mit Ärger / apartment with trouble

Das Appartment war von der Ausstattung sehr angenehm und mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut an die Innenstadt angebunden. Folgende zwei Punkte haben für Ärger gesorgt:

Das Appartment liegt in der Einflugschneise des Lissaboner Flughafens. Mit deutlichem Fluglärm ist zu rechnen, Maschinen kamen teilweise im 2-Minuten-Takt dicht über das Haus geflogen, auch nachts.

Die Vermietern verlangte nachträglich einen erhöhten Mietpreis, da sie unterstellte, dass das Appartment mit mehr als den vereinbarten 2 Personen bewohnt wurde! Sie begründete ihre Forderung damit, dass wir anstatt des von ihr vorbereiteten Doppelbettes (Breite 1,40 m) dann doch zwei Einzelbetten im zweiten Schlafzimmer benutzt haben.

The apartment was very pleasant and is well connected to the city center by public transportation, but we had also some trouble:

The apartment is suited in the entry lane of Lisboans Airport. So we had a lot of aircraft noise, even at night.

After our departure the owner demanded an aditional rent, because she accused us that we had used the apartment with 4 persons instead of 2. In her opinion it would be clear because we didn't use the prepared double bed (1,4 m wide) but the two single beds in the second bedroom.

Owner's Response: About the facts: Mr Ch. M. rented for 2 people seven nights; he never asked or paid for different rooms or individual beds; he refused to pay deposit on check-in, and after check-out a double bed and also two single beds had all been used. To deter this kind of behaviour I decided to send an email stating that this behaviour is not acceptable and it was not correct to rent for 2 to people and stay 3 or more people. About the Lisbon airport: It should be mentioned that it is a small airport, and near the city center, and for that reason it closes at night; it should not be compared with the busiest airports of Frankfurt or London, as it was described in the comment above. My apartment has been rented along four years on Homeaway and, family guests like it because it is comfortable, spacious and quiet. Concluding: Inside Homeaway the owners should have the possibility to send their comments about the guests that make problems.

sfeervol en goed ingericht appartement.

we hebben een fijne kerstvakantie in dit appartement gehad. het was er schoon en volledig ingericht. op loofafstand van station Campolide, van daaruit ben je zo op station Rossio, in het oude gedeelte van de stad. we hebben zowel voor aankomst, als tijdens ons verblijf zeer prettig contact gehad met de eigenaresse. het appartement ligt in een rustige woonwijk van Lisboa en er is daardoor niet heel veel te beleven. winkel(tjs) zijn er wel in de buurt voor de dagelijkse boodschappen. de straat naar beneden zit een klein bakkertje met een hele aardige mevrouw die ook een beetje engels verstaat.

We have had a great Christmas holiday in this apartment. It was clean and fully furnished. On foliage away Campolide Station from there you're so at Rossio station in the old part of the city. We have had very nice contact with the owner both before arrival and during our stay.The apartment is in a quiet residential area of Lisbon and is therefore not very much to do. Shop (TJs), there are nearby for groceries. Down the street is a small bakery with a very nice lady who also understands some English.

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable à Lisbonne et ses alentours avec mes frères après avoir trouvé cet appartement qui est très spacieux, propre et fonctionnel.

L'adresse était claire, il est bien situé (pas de difficultés pour se garer et accès rapide aux grands axes)

La propriétaire est très sympathique et disponible.

Nous la remercions encore pour ce séjour.

We spent a very pleasant week in Lisbon and its surroundings with my brothers after finding this apartment. It is very spacious, clean and functional.

The address was clear, it is well located (no problem to park and easy access to major routes)

The owner is very friendly and helpful.

We still thank her for this trip.

Un magnifico apartamento

El apartamento estaba perfecto cuando llegamos, todo muy limpio y ordenado. Destacar que la mayoria de los muebles estan nuevos, incluyendo la cocina que ademas esta totalmente equipada.

El apartamento es amplio y con mucha luz. Nunca tuvimos problema de aparcamiento para el coche, es muy facil de llegar y apenas está a 10 minutos del centro. La dueña (Ana) nos ayudó en todo, es muy simpatica, las 5 personas que fuimos quedamos muy contentas.

In the area you will find many restaurants, typical Portuguese, at affordable prices.

The Águas Livres Aqueduct, and is an impressive work of engineering is, along with the Belem Tower and the Jeronimos Monastery, a genuine emblem of the city of Lisbon. From March until the end of November from 10 am to 17:30 you can visit the aqueduct.

Nearby the shopping malls Torres Amoreiras and El Corte Ingles with a lot of trade, supermarkets and cinemas Eduardo VII Park and Cold Greenhouse, the museum and gardens of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

If you come to study in the School of Economics and Law at the New University of Lisbon or the Licee Francais Charles Le Pierre the apartment is very close.

In Campolide station you can catch trains to Belem, Cascais, Sintra, or to the north to Coimbra, Porto, Guimarães, Braga, or to the South, Évora, Beja, Faro, Faro, Sagres.

Lisbon is a compact city with plenty to see and do, but the distances are short, and the city is well served by public transport.
