This cottage is lovely... It has clearly been recently renovated to a high standard. Beautifully clean and tidy and with the exception of missing an oven glove (my only negative... Sorry) it had everything that we would have expected!
The Blacksmiths Arms pub is a comfortable walk and was very welcoming with excellent food.
Be aware that it is in a very rural location but this was a bonus for us as it was exceptionally quiet.
Lovely lovely lovely
Swallows Nest is a well equipped, clean & comfortable cottage.
Positioned on a working farm, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
Excellent base for touring the South Lakes, and beyond.
Local pub the Blacksmiths Arms - excellent meal there.
Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, will hopefully return one day
Fell walking from the cottages is a way to enjoy the super valley views.
