About Scott and Karen Thompson
Scott & Karen Thompson live and work in Estes Park; Scott as a real estate consultant and Karen as an executive assistant at Town Hall. We have lived in Estes Park nine years, but like many, have been visiting the area since childhood. We sincerely enjoy hosting guests giving them the a quality place to stay, and information they need to make their vacation pleasant. The Estes Valley and Rocky Mountain National Park have so much to offer, and we are blessed to live here year-round. Giving back to the community is important to us, and we especially enjoy volunteering for local events like Elk Fest, Catch the Glow Parade, and the Estes Park Duck Race. We have two adult daughters and enjoy hiking and serving others in our spare time.

We had 4 girlfriends stay here for an annual get together. We loved it, plenty of space, and the balcony overlooking the river was a big treat. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants, we rode the Tram, we went up to RMNP and saw plenty of elk in town. This is a great condo in a fun location.
Comfortable and clean
The condo was convenient to shops and restaurants. Excellent for families and friends. We loved the balcony overlooking the river and used it often. Plenty of supplies provided. Loved all the windows and kept them open for the cool breeze. With that being said, the only downside was the loud garbage trucks that came 2 out of the 3 mornings we were there and they came very early around 5 am and seemed to stay a very long time. Other than that, it was a wonderful place to stay and we will be back.
We are so glad that you had a wonderful stay and we look forward to hosting you again. We do appreciate the heads up on the trash trucks. They are not supposed to pick up until after 7 am and we will remind them. Thank you for staying with us.
2nd Stay at This PerfectCondo!
This location is perfect and the accommodations are equally perfect. Loved early morning walks along river with a cup of Kind coffee. Karen is so helpful and accessible with questions. This was our second stay at this property. Hope we can return for a third!
Great location in the heart of Estes Park!
This condo is large and has all the amenities anyone should need or expect in a “home away from home.” The owners, Scott and Karen, are super responsive to questions and even the smallest issue during your stay. It was nice to be nearby stores and restaurants yet close to nature! Be sure to feed the entertaining hummingbirds out on the balcony! They were so much fun to watch.
This was a beautiful and well maintained property overlooking the river. We had a wonderful stay.
Great location with spacious living areas
Loved the location as we could walk the length of the main street with no problems. The Big Thompson River was right next to us and the river walk was peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, listening to the river and watching the hummingbirds drain the feeders. The only downside was noisy, early morning (5:30-6:30 am) truck traffic and dumpster pickups to the businesses below our condo. The wi-fi was weak.
We are so glad that you had a great time at our downtown Riverside Loft Condo. The location is what makes it special and you can catch a shuttle to the park just across the street at the visitors center. The Town of Estes has a noise ordinance that prohibits truck traffic and dumpster pickups before 7 am. Using your feedback we have reminded our neighbors of this ordinance and wished that you had let us know while you were here so we could personally address the offender. We certainly enjoyed meeting you and were glad that we could offer our assistance during your visit.
