Reef Club unit 103

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed in same unit last year so satisfied; yet, bed in master is extremely poor and although mentioned in last year’s review, nothing was done to improve this. Also, owner changed the rental company he deals with and substantially increased rent. Were it not for these two problems we would have returned next year.

Indian Rocks Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived we were given a door code that did not work. Could not contact the current agent until after the week-end. Our sheets on the mater bed were still wet. The mattress was gross. Rug on the floor in the master bedroom was wet and smelled. The rep. from the Sandyfeet agency came and helped move it to the balcony until we left after two months. We had to replace batteries in smoke detectors and remote for the ceiling fan/light. We do like the location, but kitchen items are minimal and condition of condo is not very well attended to. Our stay was for two months and we felt like we were dealing with unaddressed items most of our stay.

Needs a deep cleaning

The property does not appear to have been cleaned well regularly. There were used qtips, broken nails, and sunflower seeds all over the living room. If you move the giant wooden table you will clearly see a distinguished circle of filth which was unsettling having children that love to play on the floor. There were only 4 towels for a confirmed booking with 8 people, we had to purchase towels from Wal-Mart so everyone would have a clean shower towel. The check-in process was easy but a frustrating only getting 1 parking pass for a two-car party. Luckily the property maintenance man was on site frequently and new which cars were ours so we weren't towed. Great location, just needs to be cleaned.

Beach condo

This is the 4th time we’ve stayed at the Reef club. First time in this condo. Pros: The location is second to none and ease of access to beach and pool with the kiddos is amazing. The spiral staircase is key. Check in was seamless—however my hubby said they asked for no ID or any info. So he could have been anyone! 🤦‍♀️. There is also a pack n play. Cons: while clean at first sight, a longer look revealed a serious need for a deep clean. (One other review mentioned this and I can honestly back it up—and I am not necessarily a clean freak). The vents on the wall had a pretty generous layer of dust. Corners and underside of most furniture quite dirty. Dusty lamps etc as well. Master bed is old and not very comfortable. Sheets are very cheap (pilling A LOT). When I was in college this wouldn’t have bothered me. Now as a mom of 4–comfortable sleep is important lol. There were literally 2 rolls of toilet paper, in a 3 bedroom condo. I just think this is silly—even if they disclose it. There is no reason they cannot stock the essentials. One bottle of dawn soap and a few bars or hotel soap and otherwise ZERO cleaning supplies. Like no spray for counter top or mop for floor(which you may want when you have 6 or more of you tracking in sand and a baby crawling). The last 3 units we stayed in were managed by owners, this one by the rental company. While they were perfectly nice there are definitely some differences. It was just clear that no one person is taking responsibility for the place and the typical care and concern are non existent.

Great location

Loved being just a flight of stairs away from the beach. Unfortunately they still use old school keys and didn’t send check in instructions until 30 min before check in, so we had to drive down the road to pick up the keys. Minor annoyance at the beginning, but once we arrived it was paradise! I’d stay at this condo again. We Love Indian Rocks Beach!
