Oceanfront Home with Sweeping Views of Bay, Private Beach, minutes from Camden
About Kate Cohen
I grew up in Camden, just a few miles down the road from here and was lucky enough to return with my husband to raise our four children in Maine. My husband is a Real Estate Broker here in town and we are both very active in our community. This area is a truly special spot and we believe whether this is your first visit or your 100th, it won't be your last! We work very hard to make your stay enjoyable, we are accessible…you may run into us in town at Boyton Mckay or having a snack on the deck of the Waterfront. We hope to see you soon!

Why Kate Cohen chose Lincolnville
A wonderful place to enjoy the ocean and the freedom for kids to play safely. The house is large without feeling too big, and it all comes together to make a wonderful place to be with family and friends.

4 couples trip to Camden
We really enjoyed our stay !! The property is just beautiful! The house is equipped well and the owners had everything we possibly needed. What a lovely home to spend time at .
Wonderful house, perfect for our extended family of 6 adults and 6 children. As the grandparents we loved having our own apartment when we wanted to get away from the hub bub. Well equipped kitchen. The kids loved the beach cottage. Spectacular location.
Terrific family week
This home exceeded our expectations, even with the wonderful photos. . . the house is large with spacious rooms, and certainly enough space for us to spread out and then convene around the beautiful dining room table for meals. The weather was kind of in and out for our week, but provided us with a beautiful rainbow upon our arrival. The apartment above the garage seems almost like a rental in itself, and, although we were all together most of the time, it allowed one member who needed to work enough space and privacy to do that easily. The waterside cabin is exquisite, and we used it for "happy hour" each evening. It was fun exploring Lincolnville, after many years of vacationing in Belfast -- the Lincolnville General Store is a beauty. Kate, the owner, was readily available to answer questions, and we definitely look forward to another stay in the future.
Thank you for your review! The home is so special to us and we really love
It when we can share with others who enjoy it as we have. We would love to have you back again and again.
Excellent Family vacation
We had four generations ages 5 to 79 stay at the beach house in Lincolnville. The house is large with plenty of space for gathering together in the main areas and lots of space for privacy with multiple family groups. We really enjoyed looking for shells and sea glass on the rocky beach in the back. The yard is also huge, we brought our yoga mats and it was the perfect peaceful spot for yoga and mediation. It has a fire pit and plenty of chairs that we used for making smores (sticks also provided in the pantry). The House had more than enough amenities to entertain and relax everyone in our varied group. Lots of outdoor seating on the deck and in the yard to enjoy the outdoors and listen to the waves. The large hot tub was clean and easy to use. The sea shack was a great bonus spot to hang out and play music during the day and one couple enjoyed sleeping there at night. The apartment area above the garage was perfect for the oldest of our group to have a separate space that fit with an earlier to bed schedule. All the bedrooms are large with comfortable beds and bedding and big closets. The bathrooms are very clean and modern with a beautiful tub with a view in the master. The kitchens are well stocked. We cooked several meals and for our large group and had more than we needed to prepare and serve the group. There were even lots of spices and a few staples in the pantry. There was also two outdoor grills. There was a variety of games, puzzles, books and magazines. Our family cant wait to book a return a trip to this house.
Very nice 6 bedroom property on the water with a great view. Conveniently located to midcoast Maine.
We stayed here the last two years and will be coming back next year. Ideal for extended families with children. Great views and conveniently located. This is a six bedroom property with plenty of room. The sea shack on the water was completely redone and is in effect another bedroom. The apartment over the garage is great for the grandparents with its own kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer and deck with a view of the water. There is easy access to the water and a sand beach is a few hundred yards away. The owner is responsive and easy to deal with.
Perfect family vacation spot!
We had 11 family members stay for a week and there was room for twice as many! My husband and I especially enjoyed sleeping in the beach cottage; absolute peace listening to the waves and feeling the breeze from the bay. The beach access is wonderful and it is a short walk to a sandy portion with wonderful tide pools for exploring at low tide. This was a favorite activity for kids and adults alike! The home is well stocked with high quality kitchen items and plenty of linens. The knives could use a sharpen and some more kitchen towels would have helped us keep up with the dishes, but those are only very minor suggestions for improvement. We also really appreciated the bins for our recycling needs and plenty of wood for campfires. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone. We hope to return again!
Thanks for your review! I am so pleased you enjoyed our house. I will make sure to get those knives sharpened and add some extra kitchen towels.
Hope to have you again!
Home is located in the heart of Penobscot Bay--one of the most coveted sailing areas in the world. Gaze all days at lobster boats, schooners, the Islesboro ferry, and all the nearby islands . Property offers a great home base from which to explore the Maine coast. Camden is about 7 miles away and Belfast is about 9 miles.
