Dramatic setting is at the base of boulders surrounded by natural desert with panoramic mountain views. Wildlife is abundant here; rabbits, quails, road runners, coyotes, bobcats pass by. The Guest House features high ceilings, polished concrete floors throughout, an abundance of light, high end finishes and mid century touches. The light and bright open plan interior space has sliding glass doors from the living room that open to a deck with a shade structure with cushioned Adirondack chairs. It's a perfect place to relax after a day of hiking and exploring. Designer kitchen with everything you need: stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, dishware/cooking equipment and a wall of windows with splendid desert views. Outside the kitchen is a patio area with table and seating for lounging and outdoor dining. There is a separate bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed; high end linens. The tiled bathroom has a sink/toilet; right outside the door is a private fully tiled shower offering an amazing desert, boulder, blue sky view while showering. The modern furnishings are attractive and comfortable. Well behaved dogs up to 20 lbs are welcome. No pet fee. Be aware that there is no fencing around the property; it opens right into the natural desert. When outside dogs they must be leashed for their own safety and so as not to disturb wildlife/neighbors. Pets cannot be left alone on the on the property at any time. (Close by pet sitter & dog park recommendation).

Guest house is located on the same 2.5 acre parcel of land as owner's main house. Spaced @ 100' apart, privatized by landscaping. Owner may or may not be on premises. Available for assistance/questions; otherwise privacy of renters is respected.
The entire Joshua Tree Highlands neighborhood has dirt roads (by choice) which lends to it's charm and desert feel but can also be challenging in bad weather.
