Great house. Small 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. I would stay again. Very nice owner.
Lovely quaint place to stay.
We really appreciate the clean and neat accommodations. Would recommend for a great stay.
Nice cozy cottage. The lake was great for kayaks. It was perfect size for jet skis. House had everything we needed and was perfect for family of four ( 2 adults and 2 kids). Had good communication with the owner. Expect about 20-30 minutes of travel to restaurants. Great place to stay for day trips to beaches, Savanah, or Okefenokee Swamp. Would recommend.
It was very clean and such a beautiful house with a wonderful view.
We where there for work but because we stayed on the lake it was like a vacation. Tammi is so helpful. I shopped at the local antique shops, we took our Jet ski, caught several bass. It was a lot of fun and relaxing. We will definitely book again for a vacation. Love it!!
I'm so happy you enjoyed your stay at the Victorian Lake House! It's always wonderful to hear that time spent there was both fun and relaxing. I hope you do get a chance to come back when it's truly vacation time. The large windows throughout the house let so much light in, and having a view of the water from (three sides) inside the house can make the visit really special, when you have time to catch your breath and take it all in. As we discussed, the lake house is a wonderful place to go for anniversaries. Hint, hint! I look forward to you visiting the lake house in the future.
Neat Little Place - will Stay Again
Really enjoyed staying there for my work assignment. It is a very well put together little charming little house. Very functional. Owner very responsive and great to work with as well.
Thank you so much for taking the time to do a travel review for my Victorian Lake House. That you mentioned my house is "very well put together", "charming", and "very functional", is greatly appreciated. I look forward to your future stay, if you happen to be working in the area, or want to get away for some R&R time, or for a special celebration.
Peaceful and serene
Tammi was a great hostess and very responsive. The home was just as pictured but to future travelers, there is no specific driveway. The home is nestled behind a couple mobile homes and you drive through the grass to reach the home. The dock in pictures also appears to belong to an adjacent property since the rental property grounds were well maintained but the grass around the dock was about 2 feet high. No worries though, I caught plenty of fish and sunshine from the beautiful banks. Overall, the place is well kept and clean. The area is extremely quiet and the lake was still as glass all day except for a fish or two popping up to let me know they were there. I would recommend it to small groups of adults or those with older children. Stairs inside are particularly steep and open which could present a danger to the young ones.
