Why LeVan Rogers chose Highlands
We fell in love with it and love spending time in this wonderful location. I have planted many a plant here and my husband has written many words in his novels.
What makes this House unique
Wonderful location, we can be at Buck's coffee, or Mountain Fresh for breakfast ( wonderful waffles w/ real maple syrup) in 5 min. We feel we have the best of all worlds in this property and our Charleston location, hence the name 'Lowcountry High'

Quaint and Comfortable Cottage
Low Country High was a very quaint and comfortable cottage and I felt right at home for my 10 day stay. The location was very convenient to town and offered all of the needed amenities. The best part was feeling like you are nestled in a beautiful garden. The owner has dahlias, lilies, hydrangea, roses, daisies - everything you can imagine surrounding this cute cottage. I would come back again.
Jo, was a great guest and left the cottage in good condition. We hope she will return again
A well loved and well lived in home.
My husband and I had only four days to spend in Highlands, and we were thrilled with "Low Country High"! The house is cozy and very comfortable - great beds and a kitchen with everything you would need to put on a feast. The gazebo is a wonderful place for coffee or tea and your favorite novel. Although the garden was put to bed for the fall and winter, it must be glorious in Spring and Summer. We will definitely be back.
Ann and James were great guest. Very communicative and responsive. It was a pleasure to have them in our “home away from home” and hope they will return when the garden is awake and weather warm, although October in Highlands is always prime time.
A comfortable and well-managed home away from home.
We enjoyed our time in the Highlands, knowing that our vacation home was a very short drive from downtown and that when we returned we had a pleasant place to enjoy our private time. We had two comfortable outdoor reading locations that were quiet, comfortable, and attractive. We had easy access to wifi for our devices and three up-to-date TV's with DVR capability that allowed us to pause viewing or record while we were out and view when we were ready. The kitchen was well supplied and my wife was able to do as much cooking as she wanted. She is a good cook so it must have been a good kitchen. My only complaint is that I had to stoop to use the microwave. We enjoyed our week in Highlands and our vacation home was a big reason that we did.
Jim and Jackie were great guest and we hope they will return. They were great about keeping us informed about the property and helping with some watering of plants which we and the plants love.
Also Jim I have a list of improvements for the property every year and the microwave as well as gas logs are next on the list. Please come again.
Very lovely cottage! Beautifully decorated & great modern bathrooms.
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Lowcountry High Cottage. It is convenient for shopping or eating in downtown Highlands & then just a few minutes to return to the cottage. The deck & gazebo are both delightful outdoor settings. The kitchen has everything one could possibly need for cooking. We will definitely make Lowcountry High Cottage our first choice for next year's stay in Highlands!
Three perfectly beautiful weeks in the Highlands in the fall at Le Vans place
LeVans home is warm, cozy and so comfortable in addition to being so pretty. We especially enjoyed
Sitting and having coffee in the gazebo in the morning while the leaves fall and crisp breezes blow .we had everything we wanted for our fall getaway
Lynn and Charlie
Thanks so much, Lynn. You were great guest and very considerate of our property. We look forward to your return for the summer garden experience.
Lovely Lowcountry High
My husband, our daughter & myself drove up to Lowcountry High & knew we would have the best week ever. The flowers in the owner's garden captured us into a happy place. We got settled in a home where everything was well placed. We loved the way it was decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with great pots & cooking dishes. There is one thing I would change in the kitchen. The microwave should be moved to the top shelf. You have to bend over to see the settings. Most of the time, you just guessed the setting because the control panel was so low on the shelf. My daughter asked me could she make a suggestion. She suggested that a TV needs to be put in the room beside the second bathroom for children. EVERY morning we walked in the garden and admired God's creation. The day lilies, hydrangeas, dahlias, and MANY more types of flowers were gorgeous. Would we stay in this home again? YES!!!!
Melinda, great to have you and your family. Thanks so much for your kind compliments and your suggestions are on our list. Hope to see you again very soon.
