Spacious lounge which has great views from all sides. Lovely town of Girvan just a short drive away where you can stock up on shopping and have a walk on the harbour. Fantastic Log Cabin which was a real home from home and more spacious than we imagined. Views from the property were amazing watching the Gannets diving and the seals on the rocks and swimming each morning as we ate breakfast was an experience we will never forget. The Log Cabin was highly recommended to us by friends that had stayed previously so we knew it wouldn't disappoint but it exceeded all our expectations. We will be back!
I would definately recommend this property, it was a real home from home, really spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean with beautiful white Egyptian cotton linens. The owners were so welcoming and informative, nothing was too much trouble, by the time we left we felt like we were saying goodbye to old friends. The holiday gave us so many happy memories and a longing to return, how wonderful to wake up to such beauty each morning and wonder at the amazing sunsets in the evenings, especially with a glass of wine on the beach or the verandah. We are already planning our next trip to The Log Cabin and Lendalfoot as soon as work commitments allow!
On arrival at THE LOG CABIN we were amazed at the stunning location and beautiful views. What a find! We had a perfect memorable holiday. The only downside was the day of departure, we did not want to leave. Can't wait to go back.

On arrival at THE LOG CABIN we could only marvel at the beautiful setting and amazing views. We enjoyed a great holiday in this stunning location and did not want to leave. We will definately be back.
The beautiful Hamlet of Lendalfoot is located at the foot of the river Lendal. The Property has unspoilt coastal views of The Ailsa Craig, Arran and Kintyre. There is a private slipway onto the beach. The Russian Maritime Memorial is just a short stroll along the beach. The picturesque harbour village of Girvan is 7 miles along the coast road. World famous Turnberry golf course is only a short drive away. Further along the coast is Culzean Castle which can be approached from the road or from a walk along Croy Shore (where you can often enjoy the entire walk without seeing another soul along the way and just enjoy the peace and solitude. I have done this many times and would definately recommend it). If you drive further along the coast you can experience the magic of the famous Electric Brae, then onto the tiny harbour village of Dunure (used as a film location for episodes of the tv series Taggart) with stunning views, scenery and castle ruins. Ayr is your next major attraction.
