About Cecil Jones
We are retired USAF military members and live on Okaloosa Island ourselves only 2 miles to the west of our rental townhouse.
Cecil Jones purchased this Townhouse in 1989
Why Cecil Jones chose Fort Walton Beach
We have owned this town house since the late 80's and it was used by a family member until recently. In 2013 we completed a renovation of the interior including new paint and ceilings, bathroom upgrades and new appliances.

Heaven in Fort Walton
This was our 3rd stay in the past 6 years. Every time we go we get all we loved about the townhouse plus more to enjoy! As usual, plenty of room for our group of 5 adults, 2 kids (3 and 6) and our dog (11 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel). Doggie door used more and more, morning coffee in the garden outside fenced patio grounds and the beach a block away. Perfect home base to visit local family and friends... Asiago Grill still great for breakfast, Fubar (used to be Helen Back) great pizza (different recipe but so tasty - had it twice!) and location bar, AJ's great music and food and now added within walking distance a mini golf ice cream business. Also recently added local seafood option, Stewby's (within a mile walk), was outstanding and busy during weekday lunchtime.
Improvements on the townhouse property included keypad entry and even more usable items to make your stay feel comfortable. This place is a gem and very affordable.
We won't stay anywhere else when visiting...we go so far as planning our dates to visit around this townhouse's availability!!! I'm thinking the downstairs mattress will be replaced when we come back in 2 years as part of the owners ongoing improvements but can't imagine much more will change.
Thanks Cecil and Helen for another very satisfying stay!!! Indiana John
Just want we needed. Loved the home loved the beach. Happy kiddos is always a win!
The process was quick and easy. The owner was available if we had any questions. Would definitely choose to do this again.
We brought 7 adults and a baby to this property for a family vacation. It was clean and very well stocked in the kichen. The owner was pleasant and responsive in communicating. There was a closet full of beach items that were extremely handy, including a large beach mat and rolling cart. We enjoyed our stay very much. There were a few minor complaints. The sleeper sofa was not usable. I would not include it in the total bed count. It might be ok for a couple of small children, but most adults would not tolerate it. You could possibly put an air mattress over it to improve it. Fortunately we had packed a cot for our 7th adult, anticipating an issue with the sleeper sofa.. The upstairs queen mattress is nice, but the downstairs queen was visibly sunken and a little too soft for my taste. The bunk beds held two of my 20-something "kids," but were clearly more suited for children/ teens. Lastly, the sunroom is a nice large space which was great as a second hang out/ game room. However, it is cooled with only one small window unit, so it remained slightly warm. The AC worked wonderfully for the rest of the house. Overall, a very good value, property and location. One last tip-- if you want a day away from the beach, the Holiday Inn nearby will let you spend the day at their resort pool for about $10/person.
Ft Walton 2019
Great location with access to all the fun stuff.
Loved this place
I loved staying in this townhome. The walk to the beach was easy. Traffic did pick up for the holiday but it was fine. The home has enough room for guests to spread out. The kitchen (as well as the entire house) was well stocked and the patio area was really nice. The upstairs bedroom was my pick. We gave the downstairs bedroom to the teens as the mattress wasn't as good as the one in the upstairs bedroom and I'm old enough to need a firmer mattress. The downstairs couches, bunk beds, and the large sunroom were great for the kids. Also, the owner was very easy to work with.
Great townhouse for the price. Close to the beach and restaurants and bars.Would highly recommend! Remember the beach is not pet friendly!!
