Looks Are Deceiving
The main problem with this property is that the pictures of the "ultra-modern studio" on the website don't match the actual property. There was no island as pictured. We needed a space for 3 people and got a cramped tiny one room spot and a plastic airbed for our son to sleep on (no roll away or pull-out couch conversion). There was not enough space to eat at a kitchen "table" as there were only two chairs and very limited kitchen utensils (one wine glass, one dish towel, etc.). Also, the lighting was very poor in the space in that it was dark in general - the night stand was also missing a light bulb - a case of just missing attention to details. We were disappointed with the property. The one good part of the building as a whole was having access to the very top floor for panoramic views of Seattle. We were there during Sea Fair and were able to watch the Blue Angels fly by.
Amazing rooftop! Unit not as pictured.
Really convenient location right by Pike's Market. We were able to easily walk there and most other spots within a few minutes. Bus stops aren't far if you want to go further. The rooftop area was amazing...I was shocked they didn't sell this more in the ad since we spent so much time relaxing up there. The view from the rooftop overlooks the sound, Pikes, the city lights, etc. Plus there's great lounge chairs and tables to sit on. The building itself was nice, clean, quiet and secure. My only complaints were the mattress was terrible (squeaky and you roll to the middle) and the unit not being what was pictured. It was still nice, but had a bit more of a true studio feel than the pictures indicate. (Galley kitchen as opposed to the kitchen with the island and bar stools they show, tiny couch on one wall next to the bed as opposed to the sectional, one big room with the bed in it as opposed to the separate bedroom in photos etc.) Also, the view from the room was of the low-income housing across the street. No one from there bothered us and we never felt unsafe, but it made for some interesting watching at night. Still a nice place, but I would appreciate photos of the actual unit instead of feeling a bit duped when first walking in.
Close to the market and the streetcar and shopping.
We had a great time in Seattle. Best park of the trip was the evening on the rooftop with a glass of wine! This is a must do.
Great location and view!
The location of this apartment was perfect. It was only a couple blocks from the market! We went to the market every morning and picked out what we would make for dinner. It was fantastic! The pictures are not from the same apartment that we stayed in but it was still nice and had a great view. We were able to relax and stay in for meals while still having the ambiance of a rooftop restaurant! It was exceptional. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
Nice location, good facility.
