Lovely home

  • 4 of 5

This home is lovely but so high tech that it would have been helpful to have had someone there at check-in to instruct us as to it’s use. Had trouble figuring out all the lights and heating etc. Heat didn’t work in downstairs family room and tv had a crack and hole in it so we couldn’t use it. Cable very limited. Would have been nice to have use of a DVD player to view movies. Coffee maker filter wasn’t the correct one so coffee leaked all over counter three mornings in a row until we figured this out and purchased correct paper inserts. Kitchen sink spray nozzle didn’t work so it was difficult to keep large sink clean. No kitchen wash cloths or pot holders. Master bathroom lights flickered constantly but the high tech toilet was great- warm seat a plus in the cold of the night! Master bedroom pillows need upgrading. We couldn’t get the sliding doors off the deck to lock, which made us uncomfortable at night. The location was great for skiing- 3 min from resort. Perhaps an exterminator is in order, as we had a very large, black spider in our ski gloves and same type in our master bedroom sink. Wifi was very weak and some of us couldn’t work remotely, as a result. Unfortunately, our daughter had to get up very early the morning after snowfall (roads hadn’t yet been cleared) to go to local coffee house to write and submit work report. Overall, we would like to use again if these issues were corrected. We still had a great time with our four adult children and grandchild.
