This house has three types of rentals:
Our family has done Fire Island every year for the last few years, typically staying in different houses and towns. This is without a doubt the best house we have stayed in! Renovated and clean bathrooms (which are a lot more rare than they should be on Fire Island!) and a great open-plan kitchen / living area. The bathrooms definitely seemed like a big deal to the ladies; personally I was more about the outdoor shower, which was awesome!
We stayed with another family, were 9 in total and always felt like we had enough space. Very happy with this find and will definitely be coming back.
What a comfortable stay!!!!! Both my wife and I along with our 16 month old had a great weekend stay at this property. What we enjoyed most, besides from the closeness to both the ferry and the beach, was the comfortable layout of the house with all the rooms separated adequately from each other allowing for complete comfort and privacy. Renovated kitchen made for a great time cooking and eating delicious meals throughout our stay. Our toddler had plenty of space to run around both inside and on the deck.
Simply put, everything worked in the house and without any issues. As a dad, my biggest issue that weekend was how to fold our beach tent back into its cover.....
Had an amazing weekend staying at this property! It is in a perfect location - just a couple houses down from the beach, a couple houses down from the ferry, and despite the central location was also quiet as well given the home backs onto a private community. The inside was great: oversized living room, 4 spacious bedrooms, and renovated kitchen and bathrooms which is very hard to find in Fire Island. Add in the large deck and outdoor shower and it made for the perfect weekend with friends and family. Will be staying again!
We had a fantastic weekend staying in Fire Island at this property. Close to the ferry, the beach and the store, it was really convenient. The house has a brand new kitchen, and modern bathrooms that also look very new, and most importantly very clean. There is a fantastic playground only a few minutes walk away too, which my daughter loved! It was our first trip to Fire Island, and it really exceeded our expectations. I cant wait to get back there again!
Enjoyed a perfect mini-vacation with family and friends. Easily entertained the kids (ranging 3-6 yrs) - effortless walk to the pristine beaches and felt relaxed as a parent as no vehicles on the pathways made it safe for the kiddo's to run and have fun. The outdoor shower was bliss! The perfectly appointed kitchen and spacious floor plan made for a easy food prep and entertaining. Awesome to be so close to the market too. Just a great house to soak up the "island vibe".
I spent the week here with my wife and two children along with two other couples and their children and it was spacious, clean and comfortable for all. The location was great, just a 5 minute walk from the ferry, a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to Seaview, where there is was playground the kids loved. There was a huge deck with a table and chairs and a BBQ grill. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with(dishes, pots, pans etc.) There was also an outside shower that was great after a day at the beach. The house came with bicycles to ride and a wagon to carry things. We had a great time and are looking forward to going back.

A popular summer resort, Fire Island is known for its pristine beaches, tranquil atmosphere, and laid back charm. The island is 31 miles long and 2 - 3 blocks wide and is comprised of 18 distinct communities, each with its own unique character and vibe. Bordered to the north by the Great South Bay and to the south by the Atlantic Ocean, Fire Island’s beaches are world famous. Less than 50 miles from Manhattan to the Bay Shore Ferry terminal, many people come to Fire Island to escape the hustle bustle of New York City in a relaxing setting, without the attitude and pretension of the Hamptons.
Cars are not allowed on the island in the summer months and are permitted during the winter only with a Federal permit. Walking and biking are the predominant forms of transportation, contributing to the island’s intimate, relaxed atmosphere. Residents use wagons to transport luggage, groceries, and other items to and from the ferry terminal, market, or beach. Because of this, the radio flyer red wagon has become a familiar Fire Island icon. The island is also known for the abundance of wild deer that roam freely.
