About Esteban Castañeda
My name is Esteban Castaneda and I live near Cancun (about one hour drive north of Tulum). I was born in Mexico City and moved to the Yucatan peninsula in 2007 and discovered 'the magic' of Tulum a few years ago. I purchased this condo in 2012 to have more time to enjoy Tulum, the beaches and the town. There are many wonderful things to see and explore in this area including several major Mayan ruins (Tulum, Coba and Chithzen itza).
Esteban Castañeda purchased this Apartment in 2012
Why Esteban Castañeda chose Aldea Zama
The Zama Village condo's have a meandering pool through the courtyard ideal for children and adults. The entire Aldea Zama development is a master planned commercial and residential development of outstanding design and will integrate restaurants and shops when finished. There is 24 hour security for this 'gated community' although Tulum is a relatively peaceful village. The Tulum Mayan ruins and fabulous beaches are about 1 mile away from Zama Village.
What makes this Apartment unique
The main bedroom hot tub facing the jungle gives me more peace and relaxation than any thing else in this world. I also enjoy a lot having barbecue reunions at the private rooftop. And explore the area riding a bike gives me my session of exercise and adventure.

Zama Village Tulúm
Great house, very well equipped, great host!
Beautiful. Had everything we needed, grocery store close by.
The home is very nicely decorated and comfortable. I would stay there again but would rent a car or hire a driver. We had to take a cab everywhere. After the rain in the morning the birds came close in the trees. It was great to watch. The other tenants/guests were all so friendly and helpful. The pool was the perfect end to the day. Thank you so much for making this a relaxing vacation.
Considered by many knowledgeable travelers as the most beautiful beach along the Mexican Riveria, Tulum offers pristine white sand beaches with a vibrant spectrum of blue/green water. The Mayan ruins at Tulum next to the beach are a 'must see' when visiting this area along with the cenotes (sinkholes created by underground rivers) . . the Grand Cenote is just 2 miles from my Zama Village condo) and Xel-Ha water park just five miles north of Tulum (considered as the largest natural aquarium in the world) with excellent snorkeling and a chance to swim with the dolphins or stingrays in their natural habitat. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the town of Tulum along with supermarkets (one just two blocks from my condo).
