Hotel close to town centre.
the hotel is very close to the town centre staff very helpful however I did find that the food in restaurant was expensive. however everything in the town is expensive. 20 euros each for breakfast is a lot.
Clean modern hotel in city centre of Aachen
Spent 4 nights in Aachen. First night ended up in double room suitable for disabled travellers even though had booked twin rooms over 10 months prioras they had run out of rooms. Fortunately was able to transfer to twin room for remainder of stay. Staff very apologetic and surprised us with sweets and treats next day.
The twin room is very modern, however the there is no wall between room and shower/washbasin so it can feel a bit weird. Super beds, pillows, shower. Limited English TV channels. Free unlimited wifi - ask reception. Air conditioning did not work properly - it was off or freezing. Soft drinks and water were free in minibar and replenished every day - very nice. Make sure you include breakfast in your booking as it can get expensive to pay when you want it. Car park is secure but expensive as you would expect in the city.
Overall a great place to stay despite minor foibles.
Stayed there for a show that was held at CHIO . Great location for talking the bus to CHIO and right next to downtown. Nice room! Enjoyed the sauna! Loved the food I the roof top restaurant & bar.
Ideale Lage in Aachen
Jederzeit wieder.
Nice hotel close to Eurogress and attractions
This hotel is very close to Eurogress, shopping and historic attractions (Cathedral, city hall..), and bus stations. The room is very comfortable (I slept well each and every night), and the staff members are all very nice and helpful. I encountered a little difficulty when trying to open the shower door from inside the shower due to slippery hands and the small square door nob, making it a bit hard to pull open the door(I need to strengthen my muscles...). So from day two I slipped the towel edge between the door when taking the shower to prevent this from happening, which worked. There is a nice fruit store across from the street from where you can purchase fresh fruits(apricots, peaches, cherries..). The Columbian restaurant across from the street is also nice. Overall this is an enjoyable experience.
