19th Hole Hotel
19th Hole Hotel
Front desk clerk was so friendly! She even showed us to our room and pointed out the amenities. She would not take a tip. Room was very clean and neat. The only drawback was twin beds (don't most people want just Queen or King). Also, room was small - but that seemed to be the norm in Europe.
Did the trick
Very nice....staff friendly,rooms clean...nice vibrant pub below...would certainly recommend to others 👍
Golf overnight stay
Booked a twin room for a golf occasion. Booked through Expedia for £64 including full Scottish breakfast.
Arrived at 11.45am on the Saturday and although check isn't officially until 3pm, the room was ready.
The receptionist showed me to the room including the use of the electronic door security system with your room card. All the rooms are named after famous golfers. Our room was the Jack Nicklaus room 301. Found the room very clean on entry with digital safe, tea / Coffee making facilities and also a stocked mini bar. An open front style wardrobe with bath robes and dressing table gave the overall impression of it being a more expensive hotel. The bathroom adequate for our needs for an overnight stay including overbath shower and also free shampoo / shower gel extras.
Although not eating until breakfast the following morning, found the breakfast room, along with the bar lounge, to be again clean bbc and modern in design.
Made an enquiry about breakfast time for the Sunday morning ( usually 8.30-10am at weekends) and due to playing golf at 8.30am, requested breakfast for 7.30 which was accommodated by the hotel. It was a fabulous full Scottish breakfast served on the plate by the chef. It would normally be a buffet style service. Very appetizing, fresh breakfast including haggis and black pudding. What a way to start the day.
Overall a great hotel.
