This is self contained two bedroom flat with a beautiful garden.

The rate is quoted for renting as a 1 Bedroom flat. The 2nd bedroom is available for an optional extra at additional charge depending on length of stay.

Our living room space is combined with an open plan kitchen to provide a nice social environment with modern comfortable furniture.

Free HI-SPEED wireless WIFI is provided together with a flat screen TV and BlueRay DVD player that provides access to iplayer TV programmes

You can take lovely walks to Hampstead with its quaint streets and then Hampstead Heath visiting the magnificent Kenwood Park. Kenwood House, on the edge of London’s Hampstead Heath, was probably first built in the early 17th century. Between 1764 and 1779 Robert Adam transformed it into a neoclassical villa for William Murray, 1st Earl of Mansfield, and the interiors include some of Adam’s finest surviving schemes. Kenwood is now home to the 1st Earl of Iveagh’s renowned collection of Old Master and British paintings, which includes works by Rembrandt and Vermeer.

Or you can walk in the opposite direction to Primrose Hill taking in the spectacular views of London before going down the hill to Regents Park and even the London Zoo.

Continue a little further and you will arrive in Marylebone High Street and its glorious shops and cafes before finding yourself in Oxford Street. In fact the walk from our home to Oxford Street would only take 45 minutes if you didn't stop at all the other places along the way!

This Apt is a part of the home that I built with much love in 1983...in fact my daughter lived there when she first got married and my 1st grandson lived here when he was born (now 21 years of age!)

A great flat in a quiet neighborhood

This flat was ideal for us - a couple with a teenage child. It has plenty of room and was very warm and cozy despite the chilly weather. We liked everything about it - the amenities, the location, the kitchen, even the movie collection! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we recommend it. The neighborhood is a nice quiet residential area within walking distance of good places to eat, the tube, and Primrose Hill. While we traveled to the heart of city easily every day while we were there, we enjoyed coming "home" to a nice quiet place in the evenings.

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful stay in London. This flat is well appointed, with a nice bathroom and good beds. The beds were comfy even for my 6' plus frame. Our teenage daughters liked their spacious room which was more spacious than expected. Everything works. The kitchen had everything we wanted including a coffee machine. It's in a really nice, quiet neighborhood with good pubs, breakfast, coffee shops and markets within a couple of blocks. It has a lovely garden we spent time in since the weather was warm. Perfect location for London near the Underground and busses. Getting around was super easy. This was our first time in London but we're coming back and hope we can stay here. Highly recommended!

Fabulous London Flat

We spent six nights this Spring in this lovely London Flat. Barrie was a vey welcoming host who had useful tips for transportation, convenient shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is an attractive residential area with easy access to two tube lines and several bus lines. Its a pleasant walk to Regents Park and the London Zoo. The beautifully renovated, spacious flat was very clean, had abundant natural light and access to a lovely garden.

The kitchen area was well equipped as was the bathroom. Barrie left us a "starter kit" of great coffee and breakfast basics. The living room included a very useful charging station for cell phones and other digital devices and several helpful maps. Open to the kitchen, the living room was well furnished for dining, as well as lounging, reading, watching the BBC, or studying maps and guides.

We hope our next UK trip will include another visit with Barrie.

Extremely comfortable and well-equipped garden flat, with a superb location close to but removed from the noise and hub-bub of central London (If you've seen the film The Lady in the Van with Maggie Smith, this is the neighborhood). Easy access to tube and buses. The owner is extraordinarily kind and helpful, and could not be more welcoming. All in all, a five-star experience at a price that is more than reasonable. I couldn't recommend the flat more highly.

Wonderful stay

We spent a week at Barrie's flat- we had a great stay and found the place very cozy, comfortable, big and well equipped. The neighbourhood is very quiet and the access to the city from the flat is very fast. Barrie was a great host and was always available for everything we needed
