Half duplex overlooking Blackcomb Mt

Large, bright, spacious duplex with vaulted ceilings and mountain views. Ideal for 1 or 2 families, 8 people max. This is *Not* a party house. We only rent to families who wish to enjoy a quiet, spectacular setting where they can feel at home. If you are looking to let it all hang out (and who doesn't from time to time), there are many other accommodations that will be happy to have you.

Our half of the duplex has 5 bedrooms, (master - queen size; 2 bed bunk; 4 bed bunk; queen; double), 3 baths on 3 floors. (but max number of guests is 8) Large kitchen, dining room, living room on main floor. Family room and 6-person hot tub on main floor. 2 decks. Large entrance room. All appliances, incl washer/dryer. WiFi, TV, BluRay. 5 minutes walk from main Whistler Village and/or Village North.

About David Rowat or Lorna Seppala

Vancouver-based family. We ski in winter, at Christmas and on weekends, We rent occasionally in winter season. We charge more for Saturdays, because if it is rented we can't ski that weekend.

We only use the duplex occasionally in the summer and rent it more frequently, weekends included.

We make our place available only to families who want a quiet Whistler vacation.

Why David Rowat or Lorna Seppala chose Whistler

The duplex is close to the town centre but far enough away to be quiet all the time. It is big enough for a couple of families to share, and for the kids to bring their friends. It is *not* a party house. It is located right on the Valley Trail next to the golf course. Best part is a panoramic view of Blackcomb from the main floor.

Stays are very flexible during the summer and shoulder seasons. In winter, we generally use it on weekends, so we charge more if you want to rent on Saturday.

What makes this chalet unique

The vaulted ceilings and open main floor gives our home a spacious, comfortable feeling, with room for the family to sit and eat or just lounge around.

Perfect walking distance to the Village!

The property was just what we were seeking to accommodate 8 yogini's going to the Wanderlust Whistler yoga/music festival! The space was clean and spacious. The hot tub was lovely (although there is a fee to use it in the summer time which we were not aware of until after we had booked the space) and felt so nice after long days of doing yoga and hiking. We were able to save a lot making our meals together in the house kitchen, which was amply stocked with dishes and kitchen gadgets. We plan to make this a yearly occurrence and will definitely seek out this location again if possible!

Ideal for Groups and Families in Whistler

As a group of 6, we stayed in this fantastic property for 5 nights whilst visiting Whistler. Location is great, only 5-10 mins walk to the village centre. The house had everything we could possibly need and more! When we arrived it was spotlessly clean, and the instructions we had been given prior to arrival explained everything we needed to know.

The little touches like magazines, DVD's and games were also appreciated. We had absolutely no problems at all!

Overall an excellent stay, would definitely use again if we're in the area and recommend it to groups or families looking for a well equipped house in Whistler in a great location.
