About Sarah Reynolds
Hi folks! Thank you for your interest in my cabin. A bit about me... I am a native Georgia girl, a mom, a wife and a librarian (no bun and glasses for me, though!) My husband and I live 30 minutes from the cabin with our 2 children and our crazy dog Mangus.
Sarah Reynolds purchased this Cabin in 1999
Why Sarah Reynolds chose Dahlonega
This house is near and dear to me, and I lived here for 12 years. After re-marrying, my husband and I wanted to keep the place and thought it would be great to fix it up and share it with others. It is one of those places that just makes you feel good. While the inside is lovely, I have probably spent more hours on the porch just 'being' than anywhere else. It is cool in the summer, lush in the spring, glorious in fall, and as cozy as can be in the winter.

Quaint boho craftsman cabin
This quaint cabin was just as described and pictured, a tasteful combination of mountain cabin/local artwork deco and modern comfort.Stain glass accent windows, old barn wood old , large farm sink in the kitchen, all tile showers (both with seating bench), large deck with the view on the forest and another cozy "campfire" cove also hidden in the trees. There's a road nearby used by locals so there's nearly no traffic and no noise. Bull and Jake Mountains are about 4 miles away (10 min drive), there's also a short trail in the woods less than 0.5 mile from the cabin, and the dirt road crossing few streams about 1.5 mile away from the cabin (my dogs loved splashing in the streams). It's pretty close to Amicalola Falls and about an hour to Vogel Park and Springer Mt.
The owner responded very quickly to all our questions, offered recommendations, and was very accommodating. We highly recommend it.
Relaxing Retreat in the Trees
Cute cottage ...private, relaxing retreat. We didn’t want to leave.
Lady Bug, Lady Bug
What a wonderful weekend get away we had. The Lady Bug was so perfect for the 4 of us we are already looking at a next time to go. Coffee on the deck in the morning and wine in the afternoon. Loved the way each bedroom has its own bath. Close to Dahlonega and hiking.
Perfect Mountain Retreat
This was our 3rd time at this cabin. This time we brought our children along and it was perfect! There was ample space for all of us. The big kids loved the lofts. It is a really short drive to Amicolola Falls. The cabin is stocked with (my son's words) "epic movie collection" and lots of fun games too. The owner was more than accommodating to us and even checked in on us when storms were headed our way. We love this cabin and I am sure we will be back again!
Just what we needed.
We were very pleased. The cabin was decorated very nicely, everything was clean and there was nothing we needed to go out and get. Great job, will definitely be back!
The location of the cabin offers seclusion, yet is easily accessible to active vacationers. It is located only 4 miles from Amicolola State Park, 12 miles from Dahlonega, and 15 miles from Dawsonville. The immediate area offers a myriad of outdoor activities including hiking, hunting, horseback riding, and fishing, but is also a great place to just sit and read a book.
