Modern hotel, very nice
We were very happy with our stay at the NH Parma. The location was central, but not picturesque. The hotel was comfortable. Parking was easy and reasonable. Breakfast was good (but not very good). It seemed more of a business hotel than tourist hotel. Everything worked.
Modern hotel near the main railway station
A modern and well kept hotel near the main railway station. The neighborhood is OK but a bit far from the center, a 20 minute walk. Staff is fine but under stuffed, one to two persons in the loby, no concierge or other help.
Lean and comfortable
Within walking distance of the city centre. Very clean and comfortable. Has a corporate feel to it being a large hotel.
Nice hotel & nice staff, has parking garage below hotel
No parking, rude staff, dangerous area
We choosed this hotel because of the parking. At expedia It said self parking surcharge $10. We were 4 people , 3 of them over 70. When we arrived, during weekend ( few people at the hotel ) they said the parking was small and no place available. They send us to the closest public parking, 10 blocks away. The staff was rude, only saying it was already full, no apologizing , nothing. My father, 73 , the driver, had to walk 10 blocks back, just to park.
At night we went to the city centre. They gave as a telephone to call a cab, because the area ( station area ) was not so good at night. As it was saturday , no cabs were available either! We had to came back walking, some men followed us, the area was really dangerous at night, people dronk , a really bad experience!
The next day when checking out I asked for a book of complains or to talk to the manager... rude staff also said no...
Avoid this hotel.
