If you are looking for a peaceful retreat and the comforts of a real home, the Moraiolo apartment provides a perfect setting for a vacation, a sabbatical or your own art, writing and meditation hideaway.

The apartment occupies part of our original 500 years old farmhouse located a short distance from Assisi, about 15 min drive. Shops, open markets and all sort of services are available in Santa Maria degli Angeli which is also a 15 min drive down the mountain. Entirely renovated in 2013 and newly equipped, the self catering accomodation offers bright rooms with marvelous views on the Umbrian countryside, space and privacy without isolation.

The vacation rental has been tastefully decorated with vintage furniture which we have collected during our travels and lovingly restored.

The dining room, master bedroom, studio and one bathroom with shower are on the ground floor. A smaller bedroom with beamed ceiling and a bathroom with bath tub are upstairs.

The vacation rental is perfect for just the two of you. However there is privacy, space an comfort for another couple in the second bedroom as well as a sofa bed in the studio for children or young adults.

If you love cooking, the kitchen has excellent, brand new equipment and easy access outdoor to enjoy the long summer nights. We also offer fun, hands-on cooking classes, a great opportunity to share a day with an Italian family and learn how to make some of the wonderful food for which Umbria is famous.
