Why Theresa Denley chose Pigeon Forge
The view of mountains are so amazing! You cannot help but relax when you sit on the rocking chair on the front porch. You can hear Dollywood's train from outside the cabin! A plus with the cabin is having a flat driveway! Very easy to park in the driveway. Brand new kitchen appliances! The joy of cooking with an uninterrupted view of the mountains. After a busy day in the mountains, you can step of the bedroom into the hot tub on the porch! Looking up at the stars at night in the mountains is just beautiful as you relax in the hot tub. At night it is so peaceful to see all the cabin lights through the town, they look as though they are just sprinkled throughout the mountains. During the day you can see Uber Mountain in Gatlinburg. The cabin is very peaceful, but you are just minutes away from Dollywood Parkway.
What makes this Cabin unique
The cabin is near lots of attractions: Dollywood, Titanic, and Hattfield & McCoy dinner show, and more. There many outdoor activites as well: Cade's cove, white water rafting, tubing, ziplining, horse back riding, and much more. The cabin itself is very comfortable and warm. The view is breathtaking, and you will never get tired of it. Blue Tick Hideaway is five minutes from the attractions in Pigeon Forge. Every room has a view, that is what makes it so special! The view is what made us fall in love! After the rain, you can see the smoke come from the mountains. This is the most peaceful place I have ever been! The porch is facing Gatlinburg, great view!

Mountain views from the deck
Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your beautiful cabin. It is obvious that you have and continue to put a lot of love and labor into the cabin. The bathroom that has been remodeled is beautiful as is the woodworking on the ceilings and walls. The decorating with furniture matches all else you have done.
So excited when the bear visited us as we were sitting on porch. Your porch just beckons sitting, reading, and talking.
Loved the views and peacefulness of the cabin. First time to the area and the location seemed Perfect for what we had planned during our stay.
Thank you for staying with us!
We are so happy you enjoyed your stay.
Smoky Mountains are so relaxing. We hope you get to come back soon.
The photos of views were a tad deceiving. Trees surrounding the cabin are overgrown and somewhat obstruct views. The interior of the cabin was clean but the grounds were littered with trash from previous guests. The air conditioner was turned off upon check-in and multiple vents closed. The air filter had obviously not been changed in a long time. This resulted in the first 24 hours of our stay being uncomfortably hot inside the cabin. The beds were not the most comfortable and pillows were worn. There were no trash bags, laundry detergent, or dish soap left for us to use, we had to purchase these items from a local store. There was also a wasp nest on the porch (my daughter was stung). We visit the smokies frequently and have stayed in numerous cabins from various rental companies & private owners. This is the first time I have ever rated a cabin less than 5 stars.
Thank you for staying at our cabin.
We would have liked to had the opportunity to take care of issues during your stay.
I send each guest 3 phones numbers along with the VRBO site to keep in contact. One of the phone numbers is the gentleman who takes care of cabin (he is local). If there was trash form a previous guest we would have been happy to send someone to pick it up.
We have air condition filters on site, we could have changed that with no problem.
The overgrown trees, are just growing back since the fires. We hired someone recently to trim the trees around the cabin. We were just up there last week and had a beautiful view.
Our mattresses are Serta pillow top.
I never received a phone call, text, or email about any of these issues.
I received an email from you stating, you loved the cabin and enjoyed your stay.
I wish I would have known, I could have made your stay more comfortable.
Cabin was exactly as described. It was quiet and relaxing. Had everything we needed. Family enjoyed exploring the area around the cabin. Close to everything, but far enough to be secluded. Enjoyed our stay!
