Nice hotel close to Schiphol airport
For an overnight stay between flights, this was a great hotel with very comfortable rooms. Terrific, huge, free breakfast.
Hyatt only by name but convenient
Expecting to stay #inaHyattWorld it is quite disapointing to find oneself greeted by testy staff, in a hotel 15 minutes from the airport (albeit with a free shuttle), with very simple bathroom, view of the highway near by and less amenities than in a Ibis hotel. Wifi non-existant: the signal is there but no actual connection! It did take a frustrated phone call to the front desk to have the convoluted explanation that one needs to 'go to Safari" to properly connect. Ridiculously complicated in this day and age!
Check-in at 3pm is also always unpleasant when landing from a long journey- perhaps a shower room for arriving guests could be added? It would certainly be most appreciated.
Amsterdam is enchanting though (but one needs to head back to the airport, then take another train to Centraal, something the front desk found too obvious to explain withouth sounding ultra irritated.)
So overall is was underwhelming "for a Hyatt". Convenient and simple but disapointing.
Shuttle to hotel was a little hard to find at first. Hotel excellent for service. The buffet breakfast is great.

Ideal for airport and access to rail network
Stayed for 3 nights - hotel very clean - food excellent although menu a little limited
All hotel staff freindly and welcoming
We used the hotel to visit Amsterdam and towns further afield (great rail connections from schripol airport rail station) made good use of the free shuttle between hotel and airport

Excellent hotel convenient to Schiphol
We were very pleased with the staff, who were always cheerful and helpful, but I wish there were more of them during busy times. At times, the breakfast buffet needed more attention to replace missing items or to descale the coffee machines, These were our only concerns encountered during our book-end stays while en route to and from Africa. Their shuttle can fill up quickly during peak hours (make sure you book your shuttle time with reception!) but they were quick to tack on a backup shuttle when needed during our second stay. I don't know if it's the same year-round, but Amsterdam is a busy scene in rainy October!
The rooms are very quiet, comfy, and roomy. We detest the heavy, frosted glass bathroom barn door which is increasingly becoming the norm in Euro business hotels. There is no basic night light in the bathroom (a traveler who wakes up in a hotel in the middle of the night is often disoriented) but leaving the bathroom light on is not an option with that glass door, This may not be an issue for solo travelers, but if one has a roommate, one can't get up without disturbing the other. Otherwise, the modern bathroom fixtures are very pleasing.
The LG TV is practically useless, but no one goes to Amsterdam to watch TV, right? We only wanted to catch up on the news, but in both our rooms, the frustrating remote worked only occasionally, and after long delays. We relied upon our mobile devices to get the news and weather.

Beautiful hotel, and the staff were so wonderful
The staff was very attentive and help to get a very long line of people checking in through very quickly. They were very helpful to me as well when I needed to print out my boarding pass with a little time to go in the morning.
