About Scott Stevens
Family of five, we bought the house to raise our kids on the lake in a safe, beautiful setting.
Scott Stevens purchased this House in 1997
Why Scott Stevens chose Kingsland
Historic location looks across the water at pristine, untouched oak forests that lead up to the Packsaddle Mountain range. The last Indian battle with local settlers in Central Texas occurred at the mountain's pinnacle, viewable from the property and house. Ancient artifacts from primitive tribes attest that people have gathered here for centuries.
What makes this House unique
Few homes in Texas have the special combination of smooth water for sports, a view of mountains, a private sandy beach, room to park your boats beachside and a very comfortable place to sleep 8.

We loved our little getaway. The house and property were so cute. I loved sitting in the screened porch in the morning and the sun room in the afternoon. It was a little walk from back porch to the water and a steep incline but it was beautiful. The 2 kayaks worked out perfect as the were used quite a bit over the weekend. Beautiful spot!
We're glad that you enjoyed the accommodations, views and activities. We'll continue to try to provide the "million-dollar view" and keep it affordable, too! We look forward to hosting you again.
I can't rave enough about this property, LOVED IT!
This house was everything we expected and more! It was extremely clean (and I'm super picky). The beds were comfortable, everything we needed in the kitchen was provided. The beach and kayaks were fun, my boys had a blast! The host was very easy to contact and he checked in on us often. He even called the boat rental company for us to make sure the delivery of the boat was easy. I would highly recommend!
You are our 100th review and we still do our best to make sure the place is as clean as when the first review was placed a couple of years ago. We will have it ready for your next trip, thanks for staying with us!
This property was absolutely breathtaking. The sand is so soft and clean; the water was pretty clear for lake water and the scenery was beautiful. The house is spacious with plenty of living area for people to enjoy reading, playing games, talking, eating, etc. I will absolutely visit this property again!
We agree that it's breath-taking, about which a guest years ago proclaimed it to have a "million-dollar view" and the name stuck. Thanks for letting us host you and we're pleased that you enjoyed both the beach and interior as much as we do. There's no shortage of favorite places to find around the home, from the view points in the yard, and on the water. My favorite is the view and dining found on the screened porch, my wife's is at the water's edge -- both get to enjoy the mountains and pretty water -- we look forward to your next visit!
Wow. What a great experience. The property is very well managed. It is a beautiful setting, everything was crystal clean and as advertised. We plan to be back!
We aim to make it as clean for you as we would want when we arrive at a top hotel -- maybe nicer! We enjoyed hosting your church group and appreciated your leaving the home in great shape. See you next time.
We loved it! It was perfect 👌
Great definitely will be back again
Great to have your family stay, thanks for your nice comments when we talked about the things you liked indoors and outside. We look forward to next time!
Long Weekend Stay
Beautiful and quieter area of Llano/LAKE LBJ and easy access to rest of lake. Owner easy to communicate with. Older but adequate home.
Frances, thank you for letting us host your group and for taking the time to post a review.
Escape to our private sandy beach at this waterfront home, located on the Llano River arm of Lake LBJ. The smooth water is ideal for water sports and the sandy beach is perfect for wading or building sand castles at the water's edge. Enjoy the panoramic view of the lake, land, and Packsaddle Mountains from wall-to-wall windows in nearly every room. The spacious living room, sunroom and screened porch flow together for easy entertaining.
