About Rick and Cheryl Grigsby
Rick & Cheryl Grigsby first discovered Estes Park in 1983 and returned year after year whenever they could. During the Fall of 1997, they moved to the Estes Valley on sabbatical from 'private practice' in Texas & Oklahoma. Curiously, they never went back; at least not on their love for the Park's picture-perfect natural settings and diverse backdrops for their adventure-filled faith-based lives. Cheryl raised their 3 kids and exercised her gift of teaching. By late 2000, they had designed & built a mountain home exacting to its rocky terrain and their growing young family. Each day began with a new morning. By the Spring of 2009, Rocky Mountain Memories had taken physical form. After the Park Theatre Fire, and then again after the 2013 Estes Park Floods, they rebuilt. Like RMM, Redemption Cabin represents their creativity, attention to detail, gifts of hospitality and faith. Rick and Cheryl will serve as your caretakers and guides. He is an avid hiker. She is artsy. They both are creative.

Estes Park stay Oct. 6-11
Lovely accommodations! Perfect for our RMNP getaway. Location close to town was much appreciated. Our hosts had everything ready for us upon arrival. Will definitely return for another stay.
Perfect home away from home!
Rick and Cheryl’s restored 1914 cabin was a great fit for us. It had everything we needed and location was very convenient-just blocks away from restaurants and shops. Decor was beautifully done. We plan to be back next fall!
Diane, thanks for your kind words and we would certainly love to see you again anytime!
Cozy and Full of Character!
If you are looking for a cozy vacation cabin, you are home! This remodeled cabin has all the comforts of home in a setting that feels authentically Colorado. The owners have paid great attention to detail, and Cheryl was so great to work with. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is equipped, and the house is a convenient walk to restaurants, coffee shops, even an historic movie theater. You won't be disappointed!
Wonderful mountain cabin
This property is in a great location, very clean and the owners are wonderful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Redemption cabin. We will definitely be returning.
Great location, 5 minute walk to downtown. Very clean. Everything you need, and much more in a rental. Owners very friendly and helpful. The only negative might be the TV is limited to DVD (several provided) and streaming. Would stay there again if our travels brought us to Estes Park.
Thanks for staying with us, Bill! We enjoyed meeting you and hope you come again soon. ~cheryl & rick~
We have easy access to the best of Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park , and the surrounding vicinity. The heart of the village with fine dining, entertainment & shopping is just north a couple of minutes stroll downstream from our doorstep. The Historic Clatsworthy Studio, Aerial Tramway, Eagles Landing Restaurant, and Prospect Mountain are upstream to our immediate South. Piccadilly Square, Rock Cut Tap House, Estes Angler, Hunan’s Chinese Restaurant, Sweet Basilico Italian Restaurant, the famous Donut Haus, the Rock Climbing School, Estes Park Microbrewery, and Smokin' Dave’s BBQ are another short walk up and around the bend and then to the immediate SouthWest. Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is about 2 miles just beyond.
We share mountaintop views of the Lumpy Ridge, Twin Owls, and the snow-capped Continental Divide.
