Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 4)
About Jackie Simpson
We are a Canadian family who have enjoyed vacationing in the Bahamas since 1984. We have very close friends in Nassau and decided to purchase a second home on the island.
Jackie Simpson purchased this Condo in 1993
Why Jackie Simpson chose Nassau
We fell in love with Palms of Love Beach because it is on the quiet side of the island and yet close to all amenities. The complex itself is also small and well cared for. We are situated only feet from a beautiful quiet beach of soft white sand and turquoise water.
What makes this Condo unique
Our kids have grown up playing on this beach. It is the type of place where you can build a sandcastle on day 1 and add to it every day of your stay. There is a reef only 20 feet off shore and we have snorkeled and seen all kinds of fish and reef life. There is a seawall which is perfect spot to enjoy cocktails and watch the pink sunset.

Izzy was easy to work with and super helpful as a property owner and Jeannie as the property manager/greeter was so friendly and easy to get ahold of any time we needed help. The condo is literally steps from the most beautiful beach that we literally had all to ourselves most of the time. Decent snorkeling right off the beach as well..we saw squid, turtles, rays, and many fish. Perfect place for families that don’t like the hub bub or crowns of the big hotels
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you back on Love Beach.
Great place, great location. Clean, spacious, and secluded.
Nice condo, very nice owners, everything went very smooth. Condo setup for couples and families- separate bedrooms and bathrooms worked out great! Overall a great time on the island!
Not what we expected
Jackie, the property manager was lovely and very helpful. However, we must confess that we have been somewhat disappointed by the apartment, which is part of an apartment complex.
The cleanliness, especially in the kitchen, left much to be desired. The overall impression of the interior and the equipment was rather worn out. In the second bedroom there was no way to darken the room - and the outside light shone brightly into it. There were no blinds or the mechanism was broken. The short curtain Jackie brought to help was too short and did not help at all.
The small balcony did not allow 4 persons to sit comfortably. There were only 2 comfortable chairs, and no deck chairs at all, so we could not sit outside, especially as the rules of the apartment owner don't allow to take furniture outside.
The apartment is located in the entry and exit corridor of the airport, and we were disturbed by quite some airtraffic noise.
We are sorry to say that the apartment did not meet our expectations.
It is unfortunate that the condo did not meet your expectations. Our listing clearly sets out certain things such as that this is a condo (this is clearly shown in the photos) so it really should not be surprising that it is part of a complex. Also everything is just as pictured and described. There is nothing we can do about the size of the balcony. It is clearly pictured in our listing with two chairs. There are beach chairs which can be set up on the grass or on the beach. The gardens side bedroom has white curtains.
We have never had any indication of a problem before but we will be installing darker curtains to address this issue. Thank you for your feedback.
WOW!!!!!! Amazing views in a tranquil part of the island.
We cannot say enough about our stay at Palms of Love Beach! From the start we had great Communication from Izzy and Jackie! Once we arrived, we were welcomed by Jackie and oriented to the condo and the surrounding area. The first couple days were over cast so we traveled around the island visited the Caves, Straw Market and many other sites. Once the sun came out we really never left the condo and never had a reason to! The Beach is literally 30 ft from the door. The snorkeling just off the beach was incredible! We had planned on doing a snorkeling day off a boat but had no reason to! Do yourself a favor and snorkel out to the breakers... the variety of plant life and fish is amazing! I also brought a light fishing rod and caught fish Right off the beach. Antoine(maintenence) treated us to fresh coconut water and coconuts while we were relaxing by the beach. After sitting on the beach all day we would walk down to the beach bar at Nirvana Beach. We also took Jackie’s advice and went to the Twisted Lime in sandy port for a great night out. I would also recommend going to Jaws beach for a sunset! It’s a short drive and the views are incredible. The grocery/liquor store is a five minute drive and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a family of 4. This was the best vacation our family had taken in 18 years! We hope to see you all sooner rather than later... Thank you guys for a GREAT vacation!

We just got back from our trip to the Bahamas and I truly believe we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. We loved the location, very private with a beautiful beach right outside your door. You definitely want to rent a car to get to the great restaurants and the infamous Atlantis is a short ride into town. We traveled with another couple so the condo was perfect with two bedrooms and bathrooms. Both bedrooms had king size beds which is hard to find. It has a complete kitchen stocked with everything you could possibly need. It's also a great place to take walks on the beach. Jackie, the property manager was very helpful and there for you if needed.
Glad you enjoyed your stay! Thanks for the feedback.
Palms is located on the quiet west end of New Providence Island. Close to the Olde Fort Bay Shopping centre, Cave's Village and Stuart Cove's dive center.
