Clean and tidy with everything you need Geoff explained everything we needed to know and recommended places to eat and things to see etc. The free coffee and ice cream were a lovely appreciated treat ! Would not hesitate to recommend
Awesome location for our first trip to YNP! Would definitely recommend and very reasonable price for the area.
A gem in the rough-Homey, comfortable lodging in West Yellowstone!
Hosts Geoff and Billie could not be friendlier or more helpful. Don’t be fooled by the exterior as Geoff is renovating the other 3 units. Inside you find a very welcoming apartment with a fully equipped kitchen in minutes drive to Yellowstone National Park. The bed was very comfortable and there were lots of extra towels. The unit is within walking distance of a few restaurants and bars. During warmer weather there is a gas grill and Adirondack chairs for sitting outside.
Another fabulous perk is the complimentary coffee, banana bread (best ever) and ice cream at the hosts shop downtown!
You will not be disappointed!
Great place close to Yellowstone
The place had everything we needed! The place was spotless! Older refurbished motel. The shower head was low for my husband. We could have used more light because we like to read.
We absolutely loved the close proximity to Yellowstone. We took advantage of free coffee, breakfast burritos, pastries and ice cream! Yummy!
Very nice property at a very reasonable price
The owner is renovating an old motel into very nice rental units. It was very comfortable and in a great location to explore the west side of Yellowstone. The owner met us in person and reviewed the property and area. And his wife runs a very quaint coffee/espresso/muffin place in town and whatever you want is complimentary. How wonderfully thoughtful! Gotta get the huckleberry ice cream - yum!
Simple and pleasant
We stayed at this property for 6 nights from 8/22-8/26. We were there to hike and explore Yellowstone.
When we checked in Geoff was there waiting for us and orientated us to the unit. He was super helpful on giving us the scoop on West Yellowstone, where to eat, shop for food and how to get around the small town.
The unit it self was a no frills, but comfortable and efficient for our needs. We used the grill once and made breakfast, coffee and packed lunches each day. In the mornings the temps were as low as 34 degrees, yes in August! These Floridians never had to turn on the heat, and stayed plenty warm each night. We enjoyed stopping at Billie’s
Coffee/ice cream kiosk each day for 1 or the other. Ice cream is fabulous and the coffee beans are roasted in West Yellowstone, actually bought a pound to take home. Totally recommend trying Billie’s banana bread as well.
In West Yellowstone we went to the IMAX theater to see the Yellowstone movie, very good. We also enjoyed the Yellowstone Historic Center which covered the history of tours and travel into Yellowstone.
Thank you Geoff and Billie for making our stay enjoyable and relaxing.
The Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center is wonderful and the Imax Theatre is fun for viewing on the big screen!
Located just 6 blocks to downtown restaurants and shopping.
