The street is quiet at night and the bedroom is at the rear of the building away from any possibility of noise. Moments away are some excellent of bars, restaurants and shops, and parks.

This cosy apartment is ideal for families on vacation and business travellers alike. It has a double bed in the bedroom, a double sofa bed in the lounge, and an open-plan kitchen; it can easily accommodate 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. A cot and high chair can be made available for babies/toddlers upon request.

We booked the apt for a week, 5 business and 2 sightseeing days. It's very very central London located so we only used the underground a couple of times (which was situated just around the corner), as we discovered it easier to walk to different places. In terms of sightseeing, we spent a lot of time soaking up the atmosphere and walking around the many shops in Covent Garden. We also saw an amazing production of La boheme at the Royal Opera House. This apt is in the heart of theatre land and close to the wonderful British Museum which we both had not visited since childhood and will return to on our next visit. The apt was well furnished, comfortable and quiet, with a good kitchen not that it was needed much as there are many fabulous restaurants out and about which we took full advantage of. Overall a great base if you require a central location.

Noisy, busy, but convenient.

What a great location with Holborn Station around the corner, we were able to get everywhere. And it was a beautiful walk to Lincoln Fields and onwards, or to the British Museum. We loved Sicilian Way on the way.

Sean was very helpful giving us good tips on travel, phones, and finding a pleasant neighborhood for dining. The café right in Red Lion Square has the best cappuccino.

We were awakened at 5am every morning almost by the construction going on outside our bedroom window; since the weather was so nice we had our window open, but we did get used to it.

Holborn flat

The location is excellent, and it was surprisingly quiet for a busy locale. Upkeep of the flat left much to be desired. The kitchen sink dripped constantly; draperies didn't close; there's no light over the sink in the loo, and one of the overhead bulbs was burnt out; a window latch in the bedroom was broken, so cold air blew in constantly. Layout of the apartment is not well designed.

Wonderful Flat in a Great Location

This flat, first and foremost, was in a fantastic location if you want Central London at a great/reasonable rate. The staff is very responsive and thorough. We were scheduled to meet the staff for entry at 10pm on the night of our arrival and they were there at EXACTLY 10pm. A 2 minute walk to Holborn station (Piccadilly and Central Lines) makes it incredibly convenient. Also a quick walk to Covent Garden and other tourist locations. Having been a resident of London previously (Hampstead), I was so thrilled to be in Central London given that it was my niece's first trip there and to be able to do so at the cost of a small hotel room. She (11yrs old) and I travelled with my parents and they were very comfortable in the private bedroom...as were we in the pull out sofa, which was spacious and soft.

The amenities were great, which included anything you'd require in the kitchen, in addition to a washer/dryer. If you're an American with the intention of washing/drying clothes multiple times during the course of your visit, I would advise against relying on the drying aspect if youre in a hurry. The washer is great and they provide a drying rack in the closet. The dryer itself, which is the same machine as the washer is slow and a bit temperamental. Still a convenience, however.

My only caution would be the ability to lock oneself inside the flat. In the US, this would be considered a fire hazard, but I believe these locks are probably common in the UK. Upon entering with the key, you must turn it to the right. If you turn it all the way to the left, the padlock will remain open and if you close the door, you will find yourself locked in. Worth mentioning so our mistake isn't yours. Its a bit unnerving to be locked inside, however the staff was quick to respond and "rescue us". I've also contacted them to recommend that this be changed due to the fire hazard should it occur and someone is trapped.

Overall, just a wonderful experience and we absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone with 4 people or less. Would absolutely stay there again.

have stayed here six times, terrific every time

So I'm a regular, in that I have to go to London frequently for 2-3 days, and sometimes longer. I tried an Airbnb apartment the first time, then a hotel, and finally this Red Lion apartment. I was amazed at how much bigger and better it was than the Airbnb apartment, and how it cost about the same (and less than the hotel.) It really is just as it looks in the photos -- very clean, very modern, with plenty of light and a nice view on the road. Also, Roberto is extremely accommodating, allowing last minute changes, and regularly dropping the keys off at my place of business (except one time when I arrived late, and he waited for me at the apartment.) Unlike another reviewer, I have never had a problem with noise, except early one morning when the city picked up the bottles outside the bedroom window. I rarely see the neighbors, and never had a problem with any of them. So my experience has been first-rate, and I would recommend it to anyone. My only quibble (if only so you believe everything else) is that it would be good if they left a bar of soap or maybe even a bottle of shampoo in the medicine cabinet. The apartment is clean, clean, clean, so even a can of soda is removed (rather than left for the next guest.) Others might prefer it that way, but I'd be happier not having to bring my own soap. Still, this is my only "complaint." The apartment is great value for money and -- almost forgot -- the location can't be beat.

Wonderful experience !

Thank you for the great service !. We've been in London for 11 days with 1 year child , Roberto manage to find us with great apartment to fit our needs and took care for placing baby bed inside. as well gave us quick service in changing the kitchen lights and the shower tube. Roberto arranged us with car to the airport and helped us moving our heavy luggage .
