Beautifully remodeled 1 BR/1 BA. Sleeps up to 3 adults
We are a family of 6, living in Oregon. Timothy grew up surfing in San Diego and has dreamed of someday returning to the sun, the beach and to his family. This condo is our first step toward that dream! Although the condo is not large enough for the 6 of us, we have a plan so that we can all enjoy a little time in our paradise!
Timothy purchased this Condo in 2013
Why Timothy chose Carlsbad Village
After driving the coastline looking for the ideal spot, we drove into Carlsbad Village, looked at the condo and we just knew it was right!. It has the same small, quaint, safe feel of the community of our Oregon beach house.....unique and artsy, fun blend of old and new, casual, friendly.....with one distinguishing factor: SUN!
What makes this Condo unique
This place is in the heart of the best beach community in San Diego County. This condo is in a small complex and feels like a home, rather than a large corporate condo complex. The Village has numerous restaurants, boutique shops, amazing beaches, super friendly people and is centrally located to many activities North and South. There is a certain vibe here that can only be experienced. Come check it out.

This is a wonderful 1 bedroom condo in close proximity to Carlsbad Village and the beach.
Great place, great location.
Perfect for a Quick Get Away
Had a great time at this property. It was perfect for our stay with everything we needed for a quick weekend trip. The train was loud at night but the kids loved it.
Stylish bungalow close to everything
This was a perfect live-in for my 3 weeks of classes at nearby GIA. Location is superb. It’s an easy one block walk to the beach, and across the street from all the restaurants and shops in the most charming part of Carlsbad Village. Timothy’s bungalow is smartly and comfortably furnished for vacation living, and the kitchen is tricked out with plenty of utensils so I could cook in. Sharp ceramic knives were a plus! Thank you! They are always dull at other rentals. There’s plenty of beach equipment (chairs, umbrella, ice chest, boogie boards, towels etc.) in a closet for great beach time fun. These are well-loved/broken in for you, so you don’t feel like you’re putting the first smudge on them—thank goodness. Convertible couch in living room, plus an inflatable mattress with extra sheets and pillows means impromptu guests are comfy too. The unit is sited upstairs, and at the end, so it was more private than some, which I enjoyed. The condo units are built around a central house on the block and its nicely landscaped with a good lawn and outside grill. The one drawback is that it can be noisy, especially on the weekends, since it IS so close to everything! I kept all the windows open the whole time I was there, so I could hear the bar crowd on the rooftop of Park 101 Thurs-Sat nights, and the commuter train blasts its horn and crossing signs ring as it goes through town (which it does regularly, especially early mornings) But everybody in this great location shares that same problem—I could’ve shut the windows, but the breeze was worth the extra bit of noise. All in all had a grand time, was the envy of my classmates, and would definitely rent again.
Great place, close to everything
The property overall is well maintained, and the condo is just as pictured. Nicely decorated and tidy. There is extra bedding the pullout couch if needed, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need to prepare meals. Evening cool off nicely for sleeping with the windows open. A downside is that the train is rather loud with the windows open.
A great location and had everything we needed. Loved the decor!
We had a wonderful time at the condo.
It's location to the beach and downtown Carlsbad was great.
Had our 6 year old Grand daughter over to go to the beach.
The condo was nicely decorated and very clean.
We will definitely be back.
Carlsbad Village is the ideal base from which you can easily access sites and activities to the North, in the Los Angeles area (Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios) and South, in San Diego (LEGOLAND, Sea World, San Diego Zoo and Wildlife Safari). A short 1 hour drive gets you to either city for your adventures and then return to your haven in Carlsbad Village. No car? The Coaster takes you straight to downtown San Diego to enjoy the Gas-lamp district and PetCo Park, home of the San Diego Padres. From there, you can hop aboard the Trolley to visit Balboa Park or Qualcomm Stadium, home of the San Diego Chargers.
