About Piya N
We are a professional family living and working in the concrete jungle of Manhattan, NYC and are originally from Upstate NY and Mississippi (via India). We love visiting the Adirondacks to disconnect and unplug from the hectic city life but want to enjoy nature with all the creature comforts of a modern, luxury hotel. We're lucky enough to be very well traveled internationally (Europe, Asia, South America) and we tried to bring that global, clean-line aesthetic to this newly constructed home.
Piya N purchased this House in 2013
Why Piya N chose Brant Lake
We fell in love with Brant Lake after a visit there years ago. It's a great place to escape the insanity of every day working life to focus on what really matters, family and friends. The towns people are incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly and we felt right at home. We hope you enjoy your stay!
What makes this House unique
We prefer more modern, sleek design when it comes to homes and vacation rentals. This property is one of the only modern, contemporary homes in the area and offers privacy, peace and quiet. The home incorporates 2 master bedroom suites so no one has to argue over who gets the good bedroom if you are vacationing with another couple or family!
Absolutely NO Parties
Absolutely non-smoking inside or on terraces/decks
We have a family member with severe allergies
Minimum age of primary renter:25
100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
Awesome house with a great view of the lake!!
This house has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Well supplied, tremendous view and very comfortable. The beach access is great too. Our family loved it and had a fabulous time.
Beautiful, well-appointed home
Pulling up to this beautiful home was wonderful. The lights were on waiting for us to arrive, even in the pitch black of 3 a.m. The house is spacious and has lots of amenities, such as a pool table, and a hot tub. There is even a fully stocked spice cabinet for those who cook during their stay, like we did. I read previous reviews on this home and thought it's silly that someone knocked it for having an uncomfortable couch. Well after staying there, I agree with this reviewer wholeheartedly! While the house is wonderful and well-appointed, the couch is absolutely awful. The back of the couch is not attached to the seats, so if anyone leans on it, the back goes flying off and the person falls backward. It happened all 7 days to each and every person who sat on it. And due to the fact that the house is so large, the bang echoes throughout the home and wakes people up who happen to be sleeping. The only reason this was such a big issue for us is because we visited during the last week of December to the beginning of January, and it was so extremely cold that we were not able to really leave the home. Having a comfy couch would have made it a little bit better, but please don't let this review discourage you! The home is absolutely wonderful and the surroundings are gorgeous!
Very clean and quiet
Great vacation place. The driveway is about a half mile long and very steep. Def need four wheel drive. Can't imagine it in the snow.
Really unique house that's extremely clean.
You feel like you're living in a tree house. However the back of the couch isn't attached to the seats. Very wierd and uncomfortable. The back of the couch falls off when you lean on it.
Kitchen is very very well equipped. Tons of cooking utensils and pots and pans and spices galore.
Best stocked house I've ever stayed in!!!
Sheets and towels were soft and clean.
You should definitely stay here.
GORGEOUS AND RELAXING!!!!
What a beautiful way to spend a week! This house was spectacular. State of the art EVERYTHING and amazing sunrises and sunsets! We highly recommend it. WARNING: It's hard to go back home after you've stayed here!
Modern house with all the amenities and the most amazing views of Brant Lake. Owners were super responsive and helpful. Private community beach affords swimming out to swim dock, gorgeous kayaking and fun playground set.
Had a great week celebrating a large family reunion at Brant Lake. I loved watching my husband and his cousins rekindling their memories of growing up spending summers at the lake together.
