The property was a perfect! It was tucked away in the mountains but wasn’t too far from downtown, and was clean and cozy! Anna was great too!
End of summer get away
Great place, good views, private location, comfortable bed. We really enjoyed it. The hummingbirds hanging out was a big plus. Would definitely stay there again
This was a beautiful property. It felt like living in nature with all the amenities. Spectacular Mountain View, inviting hot tub, updated Kitchen.
The Barn is the perfect Asheville, home away from home! If you are in need of anything, the owner is very responsive and attentive. Although, she was so wonderful up front with suggestions on fun activities and dinning that we were all set in advance! The Barn, has an amazing view, and has been renovated on a very high-end scale. It is everything you are hoping for and more! My mother and I were so grateful to stay in such a nice place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
A beautiful woodland fairytale
I'll start the review by saying that I'm a hedonist who has had numerous stays at luxurious hotels, B&Bs, cabins... And this is by far my favorite discovery. The house has a rustic but modern feel, and the interior design is warm and accessibly elegant in a down to earth way. The surrounding property is charmingly landscaped without being overdone or pretentious. It retains a countryside vibe while at the same time exuding the care that the owner has put into keeping some of the wildness at bay. Stone lined shower with a window that looks over the forested mountainside. Well equipped kitchen, and stocked necessities like spices, dishwasher soap. Everything you need to settle in and relax. I felt so at peace here. If you're lucky, you may see some wildlife stopping by to say hello. I saw a black bear twice and a groundhog outside. Trees surround the house, and there is a secluded back yard with a fire pit, grill and hot tub. Honestly, I wouldn't even mind living here full time. Downtown Asheville is 10 minutes away, and a very cool town. Tons of breweries and restaurants. A big art scene. It's perfect. I will definitely be back here! Love, love, LOVE it.
Highly recommend - gorgeous and peaceful
Anne was a great host. The place was very neat and tidy and just picture perfect in everyway. Anne was quick to respond to any questions/text, but also gave us space to enjoy the time on our own. The views are gorgeous and it was a very peaceful weekend. thank you
