The Pike/Pine Corridor, recently call ”Sesame Street for Grownups” by Seattle Met magazine, has become one of Seattle’s most popular and trendy downtown neighborhoods. It is an eclectic mix of businesses, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, theaters and pubs. From the Elektra head west on Pike and you will be in the middle of all that downtown has to offer. Or stroll east up Pike to discover true Seattle neighborhood culture. Check out the kitschy shops and pick up a great read at the Elliott Bay bookstore before lunching at Boom Noodle or other favorite neighborhood restaurant. Don’t forget to save room for dessert at Cupcake Royal on your way back home. Living at the Elektra you will be steps from all the usual Seattle landmarks while immersing yourself in our urban chic Seattle culture.
Becki Snellenberg, Owner and Manager since 1998.
Travelling internationally for 16 years as a management consultant with Microsoft I learned how challenging business travel can be. My best experiences were when I stayed in furnished apartments rather than hotels. I was glad to give up hotel services to stay in a homelike environment with a full kitchen and experience living like a local, particularly when my family travelled with me. After adopting two more children I decided it was time to give up the travelling life and stay closer to home. Starting up this business was just a natural for me. I look forward to helping you make your stay in Seattle a memorable one.

Fabulous location in the heart of downtown. We bought here because we were impressed by the style of a 1940's building which was updated to condos in the 1990's. The updates were tastefully done while retaining much of the charm of the era. The Elektra Homeowners' CC&R's specifically allow for rentals of 3 days or more making this a great place to buy for owners who wanted to keep a second home in the city, or who find that they need to travel extensively in their profession and have their units empty much of the time. These are the owners we represent. Our owners invest a lot of personal care into maintaining their units because they want to feel as if they are welcoming guests into their own home - which is exactly what they are doing. We have so enjoyed hosting people from all over the country and the world coming to Seattle for temporary work, for relocation, to attend conventions, for medical treatment, to visit family or just to experience this fabulous city and all that it has to offer
Walking distance to theater, restaurants, shopping, Pike Place Market, Waterfront, Museums, nightlife. Tucked into a quiet side street next to the Convention Center, we escape much of the ordinary noise and street traffic you would find in a downtown area, yet are steps from all the life, vibrancy and activity that downtown has to offer. The trendy Pike Pine neighborhood is one of the most up and coming neighborhoods in Seattle. Our guests also enjoy the convenience of nearby grocery stores, restaurants and shops of any small neighborhood. For those coming to town to access some of the finest medical facilities in the country, we are also very close. We are two blocks from Virginia Mason and easy walking distance to Swedish and Harborview hospitals.
This is a perfect place to stay, especially if you are attending an event at hte Convention Center. Everything is just a short walk away. I'm planning on coming back when I can spend more time and see more of the city.
Wonderful place for my wife and I to stay in the downtown area. Walking distance to everything we wanted. The unit was clean and pleasant to stay in. We will use the same location over and over.
The place was nice and clean and it was great that there was someone there on premise to let us in and give us info on the area. Only issues were that the outlets in the bathroom didn't seem to work and had to use any hair styling appliances in the living room with no mirror and there was no washer and drying in the place. Map said there was one on the second floor, but couldn't find it. Great that they have free WIFI and TV!! I would stay here again if I'm back down there! I loved how it was pretty much walking distance to pikes place market and the monorail to the space needle as well as the great shopping!
Visiting our daughter who lives in downtown Seattle, so this worked out great.
The location is great - just a few blocks from Pike Street Market, restaurants, shops, public transportation (light rail and monorail are just 3 blocks away), and downtown Seattle. The price was wonderful, especially compared to hotels in the same area. The condo itself is a bit dated, and it isn't very big. The bathroom and one bedroom is small, but it is more then adequate for a week-long stay. If you are planning to park a car - good luck. Parking isn't available in the area. But, if you are walking the location is great.
The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Right by the light rail, perfect for a family trip, ridiculously affordable, safe...What more could you want...
Needed a place for four adults and one teenager. Seattle Suites was a great alternative to two hotel rooms. Gave us plenty of room to gather and make plans for the day and to socialize in evening. Definitely will try and utilize again in future when in Seattle. The shuttle from the airport dropped us off at front door and picked us up there when departing. Made coming and going from airport extremely easy. We used city transportation to get everywhere we wanted to go in the area and it was pretty easy to do.
Within walking distance of all major downtown Seattle attractions including the Pike Place Market, Art Museum, shopping, theaters, restaurants, sports stadiums, pioneer square, waterfront, aquarium, space needle, Experience Music Project, Chihuly Museum as well as major medical centers and charming boutique neighborhoods.
