|Minimum Stay||2 - 7 nights|
Situated just a few steps from the main coastal road, Casa Adrjana offers to its guests the possibility to spend relaxing days. The house is about 100 square metres wide and is made more beautiful by the blue-coloured ceramics and tiles from Vietri, wide windows with a view on the landscape and consists of three rooms: a living-room with kitchen and laundry and with a washing-machine equipped bath-room and two large double-bed bedrooms, each equipped with en-suite bath-room. Double beds can be turned into single ones, when necessary. The house can host up to six people at a time.
Guests can enjoy every sort of comforts; satellite TV, air-conditioning plant, Wi-Fi Internet plug-in, washing-machine, linen, towels, cutlery and kitchenware, parking for car/motorbike. Moreover, the flat avails of a large independent terrace well furnished with table and chairs, to get relaxed in the fresh shadow. Casa Adrjana is part of an ancient mansion dating back to the first years of the 20th century on the Amalfi State Road. Its position is 'strategic': in this area you are a few steps away from the bus-stop from where buses will take you to whatever place in the nearby you desire, in few minutes: Positano, Sorrento, Ravello, Salerno and even Naples can be easily reached. Consider that Casa Adrjana is just 1km away from the city of Amalfi, that can be easily reached on foot, passing through the picturesque village of Atrani. Besides, from where you are, a 300 metres walk will lead to the beautiful Castiglione di Ravello beach, 200 metres further you can find the Atrani Beach. Another advantage of Casa Adrjana is the Bar Bivio ('The Crossroad Bar'), which is just next door, actually a well-supplied drugstore. Opposite is the splendid Villa San Michele, hotel and restaurant. Also casa Adrjana's guests can enjoy it, on reservation. A 15-steps staircase leads to the flat main door. The garage is just next to the entrance gate and is equipped with electrically powered shutter. The garden is freely available, strictly for the flat guests.
We spent a blissful week here at this oasis of calm just outside Amalfi during the busy tourist season of August. We had a fabulous time, and our 2 1/2-year-old toddler loved her private park/terrace. One day while exploring the sights of Amalfi, she said "I want to go home!" We said "Where? Home to Canada?" But she replied "No, home to my blue house with the park." Enormous fresh lemons in a basket from Adrjana, the neighbours' rooster crowing in the morning, and brilliant starscapes above the Mediterranean at night! All memories we will cherish.
Adrjana is a wonderful host, who clearly wanted us to have a perfect stay and find all the special features of her native coast.
The flat is very clean and modernized. Though the coast road is adjacent, her double-glazed windows mute the sound almost completely.
It's a very flexible space which worked well for our family of two adults, one toddler and one senior.
Her daughter's pottery is lovely and classic, and it was nice to visit her studio, see her process and know that she is comfortable doing more unique customized designs.
The pebbled Ravello beach is truly very close (close enough to pop back to the flat for lunch, or replenish the prosecco supply) and it felt more authentic and rustic than the crowded ones at Atrani and Amalfi. There is a long somewhat intimidating staircase down to the beach, but our toddler climbed up the whole staircase herself, ending with an applause from the locals - so you can too!
If we return to Amalfi, we will definitely stay with Adrjana again!
We spent four nights at Casa Adrjana and loved the beautiful garden and apartment but the best thing was the owner, Adriana. She is very kind and helpful. Everything you need is in the apartment and she also baked us a beautiful and delicious fruit tart upon our arrival. The bus stop is just a few steps from the apartment and from there you can go to most anywhere on the Amalfi coast. It was a little intimidating at first to take the bus, but after our first trip we easily used it to go to Amalfi and Positano and other spots along the coast. Adriana arranged to have a taxi pick us up at the airport in Naples and take us to the apartment which was very nice. She also arranged for a taxi to take us back to the train station in Naples when our visit was over. I would highly recommend having her do that. We were originally going to try to take the bus from Naples but it was so much less stressful to have a taxi driver pick us up and drop us off at the door of the apartment! The views from the apartment are very beautiful! We would highly recommend this place. Thank you Adriana for making our stay so enjoyable!
We so enjoyed staying at Casa Adrjana with its stunning view, beautiful garden and spacious and lovely accommodations. Adriana was so welcoming and baked a cake and left fresh lemons and oranges from her fruit trees along with a lovely bottle of local wine.
The location of the villa is actually perfect if visiting the Amalfi Coast area. It is centrally located so you have easy access into the more crowded towns of Amalfi and Positano without having to stay there. We actually walked, (yes, on the coast road), into Atrani and Amalfi as well as into Minori. Short walks and lovely towns with great restaurants and markets.
The hotel across that street is just beautiful and recommend having a dinner there at least one night along with the use of the hotel swimming platform, it is a gem!!!!
We had a car, which was very convenient and allowed us so much flexibility in touring around. The garage and the little store and bar downstairs was great to have available, since parking can be a challenge. If you do rent a car, suggest getting full protections coverage from the car rental company, just to be on the safe side.
The villa is literally on the coast road, so we recommend that you close the windows at night and turn on the air conditioning, because you will feel like your in the middle of the Indy 500 otherwise. But the windows and doors are substantial and block out 90% of the noise.
It was a great vacation and a lovely villa that we would highly recommend and Adriana was just lovely, helpful and always available.
We loved Casa Adrjana for all its generous and spacious amenities and the glorious location over-looking the sea.
Adrjana made us feel welcome right from the beginning with a bottle of wine and her special home-made tart, and she was very helpful when we had a small accident in our hire car and giving us advice. It was good to have the use of the garage but I would recommend not hiring a car, and find an alternative way of getting there (maybe taxi from the airport?). Parking is generally haphazard and expensive and it better to use the buses or the ferry/boat services. In fact we only used the car 4 times during our 2 week stay, only to go 5km along the coast-line and back, the rest was to and from the airport.
We especially enjoyed the garden and patio area and it was a delight to come back from an evening out and sit outside sipping wine and watching the lights across the bay and, quite often, fireworks.
We have no hesitation in recommending the apartment and one to which we would happily return in the not too distant future.
Thank you Adrjana for being the perfect hostess.
Casa Adrjiana is an amazing gem in paradise. The property was very clean, spacious, convenient to walk most places and a view that is comparable to none. Everything you need to make it feel like your home is there. The best part is The owner who makes you feel like family and greets you with such warmth and her amazing tart and wonderful fresh lemons! I definitely will return!
Casa Adrjana is located in a panoramic position and it's the perfect base for exploring the Amalfi Coast. The center of Amalfi is located 1 km away from the property. The nearest village is Atrani, situated 500 metres away. This pictoresque fishermen village features a few local good restaurants one has to visit! Ravello, with its villas Cimbrone Rufolo and its stunning views, is 5 kms away from Casa Adrjana.
