Luxury family villa with 4 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms extremely private property

A truly beautiful private villa situated in a privileged area of the Torrox countryside positioned on the top of a hill to fully appreciate the surrounding countryside and stunning views. The house is set on a plot surrounded by almond trees, hence the name given to the property 'Los Almendrales'- The Olive Groves.

The property itself is built on two floors and has on the ground floor, a large lounge with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, four double bedrooms; two with two single beds and two with a double bed, a full bathroom, toilet and utility room. On the first floor there is a large suite with double bedroom with private bathroom and terrace.

The exterior of the property is composed of large terraces, a pool of 7m x 3.5m, an ample BBQ area and gardens. The views towards Torrox village, the mountains and coast can not be bettered!!

The beaches of Torrox Costa and El Morche are just a short drive away at a distance of 8km.

A deposit will be required on booking your holiday, payable by bank transfer.

Related to a possible cancellation, the quantity paid for the booking will be lost to amend possible profits and loss,

considering that the owner could lose the opportunity to rent it again.

About Carlos Cortes Espana

Traditionally, Andalusian families, particularly families from the villa of Torrox, used to spend the winter or summer seasons in houses located in the countryside, normally known as "Cortijos", in order to gather olives or grapes between others fruits from the season. Consequently, almost each family in Torrox owned a house or "Cortijo" outside the village for this purpose. Our family has used this ancient tradition in Torrox in order to offer our customers a renewed version of "the Andalusian Cortijo" with the only aim of assuring your relax and enjoyment.

The first villa was built between the years 1985-1990, is the house that we called "Cortijo Del Monte". All the family contributed on building up the house, Mom, Dad and the kids, with the aim of enjoying weekends and holidays in the house... but only until the children grew up.

By chance, and coinciding with this time, a travel agent, who knew about our house, proposed us to rent the house; according to his opinion, the villa had all the optimal conditions to be offered as a house to rent. Consequently, we finally decided to rent it and since then our only goal is to offer the best service and comfort.

Afterwards, between the years 1998-2005, other villas were built up, as the ones called "Cortijo El Paraíso", "Cortijo Los Almendrales" and "Cortijo Del Sol". It is still a family business, Mom is responsible for cleaning inside the house and taking care of all the minimum details for keeping the charm inside home; on the other hand, Dad takes care of all exterior areas, as gardens, growing up trees and flowers, watering plants and cleaning and keeping the pool; and finally, the kids, that now are adults, particularly Carlos, is responsible for the design and diffusion of the villas in all the national and international websites.

Our only objective is to offer the best, so we do not scrimp on efforts or expenses to achieve that you finally enjoy the comfort, relax and charm of our villas.

Pareltje op de berg met fantastisch uitzicht!

Wij hebben met 4 personen 2 weken mogen verblijven in deze bijzonder goed bijgehouden cortijo in het berggebied boven het dorp Torrox. Wij huren al 16 jaar lang villa's in Spanje en Portugal, maar hebben nog nooit zo'n wonderschoon uitzicht gehad! We missen het nog steeds nu we alweer een week thuis zijn. 's Morgens komt richting Nerja van achter een bergkam de zon op, ontbijten met uitzicht over de zee en het dorp en bij het zwembad zicht op de kust van Torre del Mar en zelfs van Torremolinos. Schitterend! Het grote huis is met veel liefde in Spaanse stijl ingericht, goede bedden, veel keukengerei en ruime badkamers. Minder geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn omdat de slaapkamers respectievelijk op de 1e etage en de parterre zijn, maar wel weer heel geschikt voor families met kleine kinderen, er is een traphek en het terras met het zwembad kan afgesloten worden. We hebben genoten van iedere minuut dat wij mochten doorbrengen in deze cortijo. Het was hier ook zo heerlijk stil, je hoorde alleen de vogeltjes fluiten en 's avonds de krekels tsjirpen, van de weg hoorde je nagenoeg niets. Bronwater komt hier gewoon uit de kraan. Torrox is een wit dorp met een ontzettend gezellig hoofdplein waar een aantal restaurantjes en winkels omheen liggen. Wij hebben lekker gegeten bij La Casa waar ze een leuke bediening hadden. Visgerechten kun je het beste eten bij de chiringuito's aan de kust, heerlijk vers voor een klein prijsje! Voor de wandelaars raden we de tocht door de Rio de Chillar aan. Als laatste wil ik Carlos en Antonio nog bedanken voor hun gastvrijheid en hulp! Muchas Gracias! Het is dat wij ieder jaar weer ergens anders willen verblijven om verrast te worden anders hadden wij zeker weer geboekt voor volgend jaar! Maar wij kunnen dit mooie huis met hemelse uitzicht zeker aanraden aan een ieder die houdt van rust, ruimte en vergezichten! Adios!

Just stunning!

We have just spent a gorgeous week in this amazing villa. The views are stunning and the layout of the villa is perfect for a group, there were 3 couples in our party.

There is everything you need in the villa giving a home from home feel. The bbq is very clean as is the whole property.

Antonio met us at the local BP garage at midnight to escort us to the villa. Although we speak no Spanish we managed to communicate and there is always the app on your phone!

The only disappointment was that we only booked 1 week not 2 but will be returning for 2 weeks next summer!

Amazing Villa

Los Almendrales is a gorgeous villa with everything you could possibly need for your holiday. It is in the most stunning location with amazing views on all sides and is very quiet, making it great for a relaxing break. The villa is well maintained and is obviously loved by the owners, who have put a lot of work into making it feel like a home from home. Both Antonio and Carlos are lovely and very helpful, they really make you feel very welcome. I would recommend this villa to anyone and would be delighted to return in the future.

Absolutely stunning Villa

We can recommend this Villa without hesitation, it is well built with loving care and attention to detai, the views from each of the several terraces are breathtaking.

The pool is kept immaculately clean, as are the gardens, pool towels, bedding and bathroom towels are changed regularly.

The kitchen has everything you could need and more.

We spent two weeks in this paradise in September 2014, which was just not long enough, we travelled with another couple, then had friends that live in Spain come to stay with us for a few days, the Vila was plenty big enough, with ample seating and sunbeds.

The Villa is at the top of a hill offering virtually 360 degree views from the mountains to the Mediterranean and miles of coastline, the track to the villa is mostly mettled and not too much unmade road.

It is blissfully quiet yet not too far from Torrox Puablo, which is a beautiful place to sit and while away the hours eating good food in nice surroundings, we were also pleasantly surprised with Torrox Costa too.

We spent quite a lot of our time in Torre Del Mar, this town has something for everyone, great Cafes,bars,restaurants and beaches.

Antonio was a fantastic host, nothing was too much trouble for him, he was there within 5 minutes if you had a problem, unfortunately being an ignorant Brit I speak very little Spanish and Antonio speaks no English, but we managed to communicate well, Antonio always had a smile for you.

Anything that I was unable to communicate with Antonio, I spoke to Carlos via the telephone, who speaks perfect English, Carlos was very helpful and friendly, again Carlos went that extra mile to ensure our stay was a memorable one.

I really could not find a fault with this Villa, truly amazing, my only very small petty recommendation would be to have a safe fitted.

Heavenly House Rental

We stayed for two weeks at Los Almendrales summer of 2014. We have travelled many places in Europe and the views from Los Almendrales were spectacular and we felt that we were in our own paradise surrounded by beautiful flowers and greenery. The home gave us the perfect place for a peaceful, relaxing holiday that offered us total privacy as a newly married couple. The house was well finished with everything we needed and Antonio (owner) was available if we needed him. The pool was kept sparkling clean and there were several areas around the house that offered choices for sun or shade at any time of the day. We enjoyed exploring the restaurants in Torrox and Torrox Costa. This place is an absolutely fabulous choice for a heavenly getaway vacation. Thank-you Antonio for sharing your stunning home/property with us.

Our vacation stay at Los Almendrales summer of 2013 was as expected. We wanted a nice villa with views, private pool in a quiet and peaceful area. The villa was as expected with nice sun conditions and opportunities for shade when needed. The kind host met us in Torrox. We can recommend Los Almendrales most warmly if you want a quiet and peaceful holiday at a beautiful place.

This fabulous villa is situated about an hour's drive east of Malaga between the white villages of Torrox and Cómpeta. Torrox village is a drive of around 15 minutes and a distance of 6km approx. The house is located on a hilltop therefore enjoying truly fabulous views of the mountains, sea and coast between Nerja and Malaga. Cómpeta is also very close by at approx. 7km.

The access to the villa is excellent. On leaving the motorway you have a short drive to the main Torrox/Cómpeta road (A-7207) and then 4.5km of this road before arriving at the Montealegre area of Torrox where you take and excellent track, most concreted to arrive at the villa.
