Pleasant stay but had issues
While this unit has historic charm and we enjoyed our visit, there were some issues that would have made our stay much better. Upon calling the manager to question about the parking, she answered immediately. The next day when I called and texted about the TV not working and the tub not staying plugged (so that we could use the Jacuzzi), it took her 14 hours to return my call. Even then, there was no resolution as we were never able to use the Jacuzzi and spent hours trying to get the TV to work (the owner even tried to troubleshoot via phone but he never got it to work) (Note: there were RCA and LG remotes but no devices to match. The TV was Toshiba but there was no remote for it.) We were very disappointed to miss the Alabama and Auburn games on TV. The washer and dryer are in a tight corner. I had to stand on the side of the bed to be able to get the clothes out of the washer and put in the dryer. I finally had to use my foot to get towels out of the back of the washer. The controls on the dryer are on top so unless you're 7 feet tall, you'll have to stand on the bed to operate as well.
Overall, pretty good
Stay went well with the exception of the second bedroom had temperature issues.
It was 15 degrees hotter than the rest of the house.
Cute historic building. The kitchen had plenty of supplies and a nice big refrigerator. Lots of towels for the bathroom. It was a little farther from the main historic area than I would have liked but it was only about a 10 minute walk to Forsyth Park and the free shuttle that will take you around downtown. So it was pretty easy to get downtown. Since it was in a regular neighborhood it was very close to the grocery store which was great for us. The front room was a little bit noisy at night with local traffic but it was an old house so it wasn't unexpected. And even though we were downstairs I never heard noise from any of the other units. We liked having the electric fireplace - it was surprisingly cool the nights we were there!
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The property manager was super responsive, the property was clean and we were pleasantly surprised that one bedroom had a king bed instead of the listed queen. The pool was a much appreciated amenity during the heat of July. It was walkable to most everything in and around the city with a full service grocery store a mere 2-3 blocks away.
Great condo. This fit our family great for a week. Was comfortable, clean, and well air conditioned. The pool was excellent to lounge in. Short walk to Kroger grocery store, and Forsyth Park. Can walk to the River in about 25 minutes, but it was a very easy drive there in a few minutes and parking is cheap and convenient on the Savannah parking app. Highly recommend.
Great location. Great pool
