Quinta de Sao Pedro is a very quiet small private enclosed development of 16 apartments with beautifully maintained gardens and a secluded pool area situated just 3 minutes walk from the bustling holiday atmosphere in the village of Alvor and from there a further 2 minute stroll to the harbour and beaches.
Apartment J23 is a two bedroomed duplex apartment with two full sized bedrooms, two bathrooms and balcony on the upper floor and a large combined dining room and lounge with separate kitchen and generous terrace on the lower floor. This apartment is equipped and furnished to a very high standard, every room is air-conditioned and there are ceiling fans for extra comfort. The terrace on the lounge level seats 6 comfortably for al fresco dining. The apartment sleeps 4 very comfortably and there is room in the lounge for folding beds or cots to accommodate a family of 6.

We stayed 10 days in this wonderful apartment. Clean and well maintained. Alvor is a very nice town, close to Portimao and the most beautiful place in Algarve Prices of food and drink in Alvor are still low. We can therefore strongly recommend apartment
Just returned from a lovely relaxing holiday staying at this apartment. It is fully equipped, spacious, clean, safe and secure for two couples or a family. It is in a quiet location so you can relax and unwind, yet it is an easy walk to the beaches, bars, restaurants and other amenities in Alvor. The owner made the whole transaction run very smoothly from booking to departure. Excellent communications, reliable and clear instructions etc. Linen was changed and the pool and gardens cleaned and kept beautifully. Although the pool is shared, the complex is often so quiet that you can have the pool to yourself. We swam every day. The apartment doesn't have Wifi but there are so many bars and restaurants that have great connection, it isn't a problem unless you want to be online 24 x 7. My husband and I enjoyed long walks on the beach and boardwalk, the Buganvilia and Capacho restaurants, the Lounge Bar and Sunset Bar. If you don't want to drive, you can enjoy a great holiday without a car as there is so much choice in Alvor and good taxi's and buses. In summary, a great place to spoil yourselves and chill out. If you want it a bit more hectic you can take a short walk into town and have fun.
This spacious clean, well-maintained apartment is in the perfect location to enjoy Alvor and surrounding areas. It is possible to enjoy a great two week holiday without a car if you don't want to drive. The apartment is well-equipped with everything you need and more than some we've stayed at. The owner made sure that the whole transaction and visit ran very smoothly, good communications, changes of linen, pool cleaning etc. It is within easy walking distance for the beaches, bars, restaurants, shops and all the other amenities you may need on holiday. The complex is very private and small enough to make it a tranquil and peaceful place to chill out, swim, sunbathe, etc, but close enough to the little town of Alvor if you like things a bit more hectic. I would recommend this apartment, in fact my brother has also stayed here with his family. My husband and I especially enjoyed long walks along the boardwalk and beach, the Sunset bar and Lounge Bar, the Capacho, Al queida and Buganvilia restaurants. We also swam every day in the shared pool, although it was more often just the two of us. We are looking to arrange another visit very soon.
Apartment is in a quite area. Pool is shares but rarely used so it is almost a private experience. Shop is ver close by, a easy walk2-3 minutes. The town is very nice with lots of food choices. Day trips are also easy, but you have to have a car.
Stay here you will not be disappointed.
Only downside is that there is no wifi. Don will provide a dongle for your laptop but if you vacation with tablet and phone you are out of luck.
My wife found this apartment purely by chance. We had no knowledge of the area and were looking for an apartment in or around Alvor.
The apartment is in a very good location; only five minutes walk from Alvor but sufficiently remote to be peaceful. The apartment itself has all the facilities required for a comfortable and relaxing holiday and rivals many villas in which we have stayed. Don and his wife were most welcoming and helpful and gave the impression that no reasonable request for assistance would be too much trouble.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to
friend or stranger alike. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The apartment is immaculate and good hotel quality. Situated for easy access to the town and the beach (15minutes walk) Pool is nice - but small and no shade or umbrellas round the pool - but I would highly recommend a stay in the apartment. For four people ample room, two bathrooms and an all round relaxing stay.

Wij verbleven 10 dagen in dit geweldige appartement. Schoon en zeer goed onderhouden. Alvor is een zeer gezellig stadje, dicht bij Portimao en de mooiste plek van Algarve, Lagos. Prijzen van eten en drinken in Alvor zijn nog steeds laag. Wij kunnen dit appartement dan ook ten zeerste aanraden

Alvor is located at the mouth of the Alvor estuary and Nature Reserve and is a functioning fishing village with fish market area and very attractive pedestrian area with many restaurants of all classes. The surrounding area is the lower slopes of the Montchique sierra and includes the whole estuary and two world class golf courses (Penina and Alto Club). Best known for the family friendly atmosphere and the famous Algarve welcome. Suitable for relaxed or action packed holidays at the choice of the guest. To secure a reservation 30% of the rental fee must be paid in advance. The remainder is due weeks before the arrival date. The rates include weekly cleaning and weekly complete laundry change (sheets, towels and bathmats). A refundable damage deposit of €100 is required with the rent or at handover of keys.
