This stunning luxury riverside apartment is in the heart of Kendal, between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. Enjoy beautiful views from your own private balcony - down the River Kent and to Kendal Castle beyond. This brand new apartment has a modern interior with superking size bed in the master bedroom, an additional bedroom that can be configured as a double or twin bedded room, sumptuous linens, large flatscreen TV and Bose sound system, flatscreen TVs in bedrooms, free broadband WiFi, free telephone (local and national calls), and lots more!

The property also has an open plan kitchen (with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, etc.), lounge and dining room, and two Villeroy & Boch bathrooms. Private parking is also provided free of charge but, if you prefer to come by train, the apartment is only a short walk from Kendal's railway station.

Thank you so much for being so accommodating around the New Year change. Beautiful apartment, immaculate, lovely linen. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Happy New Year. PS – Children’s toys were wonderful for our 4 years old and 22 month old grandchildren who spent a lovely afternoon sheltering from the rain. PPS – As keen birders it was good to see our first birds of 2013 from the apartment – a goosander on 1st Jan and 2 little grebes on the 2nd, and 5 goosanders on the 3rd followed!

A beautiful and relaxing apartment!

We had a wonderful time at the apartment in Kendal. It is as beautiful and peaceful as shown in the pictures. There were four adults traveling and both couples

had their own very nice bathroom and the washer and dryer was a plus.

The views from the deck are amazing! The apartment location is a very

easy walk to the restaurants and sights in Kendal. It is a great base for touring the Lake District. It does tend to book up so book early for you vacation.

Paul was so helpful and friendly. Just a phone call away and he was there,

We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Fantastic property

Fantastic apartment, all you need for self catering holiday.loved sitting on the decking having my morning cuppa watching the ducks and swans.only a short stroll into the town. We ate a few nights in Sphere the tapas place attached to the Italian lovely food and nice cocktails. Will be returning as soon as we can. Thanks guys.

Fantastic apartment nice and quite but just a few minutes walk into town.the apartment was lovely and clean and had all you needed for a self catering holiday, the owners provided exellent customer service and even called the night we arrived to see if everything was ok. We would recommend this property. And hope it's not to long before we return. Thank you both and good luck for the future.

Absolutely perfect !

My husband and I had a wonderful break in this gorgeous apartment. It was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly wish for.

Sitting in very comfy chairs on the spacious balcony in the sunshine, sheltered from the breeze, overlooking the Kent river was lovely.

I must mention the bed in the master bedroom - we have never felt such a comfortable bed in any holiday home or hotel we have visited! It was total bliss. I didn't want to leave it !!!!

Communication with the owner was excellent. Paul went out of his way to help and even sent me information I requested after returning home! I really appreciated that. This is definitely an apartment that we would return to!

Fabulous family stay

We are a family of four (2 adults and children aged 11 and 6) who spent a wonderful week in April. We are an Australian family currently living in Africa and have travelled extensively. This apartment was one of the best apartments both for location and fit out that we have stayed in. The attention to detail and personal service of the owners was very welcome. It is an easy walk to cafes, restaurants and grocery stores as well as the many attractions of Kendal. All those small items that make a stay so enjoyable were available. We explored both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales with day trips each day and the apartment was such a lovely place to come 'home' to each evening.

First Class Appartment!

Fantastic service from start to finish, an immaculate first class apartment with great style that excessed our expectations, fully equipped with everything you could think of and more with the added bonus of a balcony with fantastic views over the river. Secure parking provided but within a few minutes walk of the city centre and just a short drive to Lake Windermere, would highly recommend this apartment to family and friends and hope to return in the future.

Kendal is sandwiched between two National Parks – the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. This traditional market town is full of history and interest, with plenty of restaurants, bars and other forms of entertainment. It is home to Kendal Castle where Catherine Parr, Henry VIII’s sixth wife, lived before moving to London. It is also home to Abbot Hall Art Gallery, Kendal Museum, the Quaker Tapestry Museum, and the Brewery Arts Centre, which has its own cinema and a full programme of events. Events in the town are varied, ranging from the International Kendal Mountain Film Festival to the Kendal Torchlight Procession, both of which are regular annual events.

  • Rentals run Friday to Friday during the season. Out of season, changeover days may be Mondays or Fridays allowing guests to enjoy short breaks (from Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday) at 60% of the weekly rate. Christmas and New Year dates may vary each year, depending on when they fall.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the rental price (or £100, whichever is greater) is payable at the time of booking. Deposits can be paid by credit card, bank transfer or cheque. Bookings made less than two calendar months before your arrival date must be accompanied by the full amount.
