This picturesque hideaway is your perfect get away retreat. Located behind a private gate on the historic Kincaid Ranch and secluded Trancas Vineyards, overlooking Zuma Beach, just 1 mile from all amenities and Malibu’s main thoroughfare, Pacific Coast Highway. This home backs up to the Santa Monica Mountains National Park with direct access to hiking/biking trails. You can surround yourself in the peace and quiet of nature or join the locals as they traverse the road for their daily exercise, stopping in at our community Vintage Market, or our corner Starbucks along the way.

Newly redone with luxurious finishes, featuring quartz counter tops and stainless appliances, including a dishwasher in the custom kitchen. Each bathroom highlights Italian tile, Carrera marble, fresh, fluffy towels, rain shower and pebble shower floor. The bedroom furniture and sliding barn doors are all custom and handcrafted with crisp white linens and comfy pillows adorning each queen size bed. About Robin Barton

After growing up in the Los Angeles area, I had always wanted to live close to the beach and have some room around me and to enjoy natural settings. I had always enjoyed the beach, hiking, animals and farming, so the search began to find a very cool property.

Robin Barton purchased this farmhouse in 1989

Why Robin Barton chose Western Malibu

After an exhausting 2 year search, one day I saw this property in a local Homes & Land magazine and I knew it would be home. It reminded me so much of the little farms in the mid-west, with a sweeping view of the beach and mountains, hiking trails, a place to plant a vineyard and even have horses, I knew this was home immediately.

What makes this farmhouse unique

The sweeping ocean views towards the south and west and the views of the mountains to the north and east along with the quiet and peacefulness makes this property truly special and unique.

Plus the direct access to hiking trails and exploring even all the way down into Trancas Creek where too old turn of the century cabins still exist.

Or taking walk down Trancas Canyon Road with the beautiful sweeping views of the Pacific, Point Dume and on many days the views of Catalina and other islands off the coast.

Loved the view and location!

This property is a duplex with each side having 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with a living room in between. The arrangement gives privacy for 2 couples sharing a unit. It is located on a hillside above Vintage Grocers and a small shopping area with a Starbucks and Kristy's Grill...a great

place to eat if you don't want to get Vintage takeout!. The view is great with the ocean and Catalina on the horizon. We especially liked the quiet location...rare in Malibu! We plan to return. Thanks Robin for being such a great host.

Beautiful Views

Loved our stay here! This was the perfect place for our annual girls trip. A peaceful place to relax and catch up with friends. Great restaurants close by and nice grocery store just down the street. Robin responded to emails quickly and was very easy to work with. The decor is lovely and the views are absolutely amazing. Can’t say enough great things about this place!

Robin place was spectacular and extremely comfortable to stay. The place is perfectly laid out. The showers were and had a great nights sleep on the comfortable bed. Great location within Malibu and close by restaurants and Starbucks. I would choose to stay here over any hotel in the Malibu area. We will definitely return to stay again.

Amazing! Perfect property for Cycling in Malibu

We spent our days climbing the canyons, and were fueled each day by the rest and comfort of Robin’s property. The location, hospitality and amenities were A+. Comfortable beds/sheets, rocking chairs, laundry and kitchen made our trip perfect. I hope to return!

Modern, clean and bright. Wonderful ocean view from the hills!

This is a great property! We had the nicest and most attentive hosts, and the space was exactly how the pictures reflected. It looks like it was just renovated or built and the beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean and spacious, and the view is incredible. It's a bit of a drive (20 min) to the main part of Malibu, but it is a nice and quiet little getaway.
