Why Susan McNeill chose Sunnyslope
The location of this property is so conveniently located. It is only a 2.5 hour drive to Seattle and is only about 15 minutes to Leavenworth, about 35 minutes to beautiful Lake Chelan. Gorgeous views and the private setting make this an ideal location.

Beautiful home! Worked perfect for a family gathering place for a wedding weekend. Plenty of room.
Cam and Susan are great hosts. The home had everything we needed and more.
Our stay was wonderful! The location was perfect for our family - skiing at Mission Ridge, shopping in Wenatchee and dining in Leavenworth. The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked. The two bottles of Dead Crow wine waiting for us on the counter were amazing. Cam, the owner / winemaker, stopped by and surprised us with a bottle of yet to be released Cabernet. Again, amazing!
Thank you Kari! We really do strive to make our guests have a great memory and we are glad you made one here.
You were very pleasant to speak with on the phone and I was excited for you and your kids to have a great trip.
Thank you for the nice review of the home and the wine!

Great place to stay in Wenatchee
Our family of four stayed here for three nights just before Christmas. An inch or two of snow fell the first night, so we woke to a beautiful winter scene the next morning.
The house is on the north end of Wenatchee. It's a 5+ minute drive to the old part of downtown (Pybus Public Market, restaurants, Arlberg Sports for skiing/biking/outdoor clothing needs) and about 25 minutes to Leavenworth. It's 2 miles down Easy Street (yes that's right) to where you can access the Apple Capital multi-use trial on the Columbia, and the ride back up is not too taxing.
The main living area has an open floor plan with large windows facing south toward Wenatchee, so lots of light during the day. The kitchen has everything you'll need, including spices and staples.
Susan was very easy to work with. We never met in person, but she was quick to respond to texts and phone calls. Plus she left us two nice bottles of the family's wine from the vineyard on the property. I haven't opened the Cab yet but the Mourvèdre was really good!! Thanks Susan.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
Beautiful, well maintained, well supplied house.
This was a perfect weekend. The house had everything we needed (including coloring books). The space and the view were incredible, and it was such a pleasure to sit on the patio and over look the grapes. I highly recommend this home.
Thank you for the nice review Kiersten. It was a pleasure to meet you and your friends and I really appreciate how nice you left the house. Thanks for coming and we are glad you enjoyed your weekend.
We skied for the week and had a great time. The house has the best open views of the mountains, a house with a great open kitchen, living room and dining room and so everyone interactions over the cooking, games and watching the Olympics on TV after the days skiing. This is our second year of renting this house and it is fabulous. Cam left two bottles of red wine from his winery. I was not expecting anything special but the Dead Crow wine was very good and I come from a family that owns a vineyard in Napa. Last year I did not even drink the wine myself. Now I know better. Make sure you enjoy the complementary wine, it is good wine. I will be back. Alec
Beautiful home with a great view
We stayed 3 nights for a ski trip to Mission Ridge. This home is actually in a residential neighborhood, but set back from the road and very private. It has all the comforts of home. The hot tub was clean and perfect after a ski day. The beds were very comfortable. All the appliances are new. The kitchen is fully stocked. There were even robes for the hot tub! We would rent this house again if we return.
The property is located on a small winery and vineyard and is conveniently located between Leavenworth and Lake Chelan on the north end of Wenatchee. You are within 20 to 40 minutes to all the popular destinations including several golf courses, wineries, ski resorts, bike trails, walking trails, kayaking. If you want to just stay in and relax the large view windows and private setting will melt your stress away.
