Super cute, quiet & cozy 4-season rental. Technically in Coplin Plt, we are on the Eustis-Stratton line. Escape the hustle & bustle of the mountain & relax here after a day of skiing! There is space on the enclosed porch for skis and other gear.
10 miles north of Sugarloaf for golf or skiing, 20 miles from Rangeley/Rangeley Lake/Saddleback, minutes from the Flagstaff Lake boat launch and Cathedral Pines Campground where there is a public beach, half hour to the Canadian border. Access to ATV trails directly from the yard for 4-wheelers or snowmobiles.
Eustis-Stratton is an amazing area to visit! There is so much to do between staying in town to going to Sugarloaf, Rangeley & beyond. Winter brings skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling; Spring/Summer/Fall are great for enjoying the scenery, hiking the various trails and mountains, visiting Flagstaff and surrounding Lakes for swimming/canoeing/kayaking/boating, enjoying the fall foliage, and much more!
We LOVE our place and so will you! Recently renovated we have on demand hot water, an efficient monitor heater that keeps the house nice and warm, an open layout so you don't feel cramped, and comfy beds.
**Queen bed is in loft area with steep, shallow stairs. Not for small children or people who have trouble using stairs. There is a gate in the closet at the bottom of the stairs to use when small children are present.
Please note this is an owner occupied vacation home with year-round resident neighbors! You will see some of our own belongings, and there are likely condiments and misc supplies that have been left to keep at "camp". Renters are welcome to use these just request that if you finish something replace if possible, and treat our home as you would treat your own. The neighbors will appreciate the same. This is NOT a party house and we expect it to be well cared for during your stay. An unfavorable review and potentially a claim filed with HomeAway for additional charges may result from the following:
-More guests than listed on the reservation found to have stayed at the house.
-Trash problems: excessive trash, loose trash in the garbage bin, trash found in the yard.
-Cigarette smoking and cigarette butts found - NO smoking in the house or in the enclosed porch. No cigarette butts left ANYWHERE.
-Late check out. If our cleaning service comes after check out and you are still there so they have to turn away, a late check out fee claim will be filed with Airbnb.
Spring/Summer/Fall: Always check with the Eustis Fire Department (207) 246-4391 for the Wildfire Danger Report for any burning restrictions and to what the fire danger level is. If it is high, please refrain from burning.
Winter: Please note that plowing and shoveling of the exterior steps will be done professionally, but not on demand. Salt and a shovel are available for renter use when necessary and renter responsibility as necessary for safety purposes. Fire pit may not be exposed due to the amount of snow.
Please do not cut down any branches or trees on the property for use in the fire pit - that will be considered property damage and charged for accordingly. There are plenty of branches already down in the woods or firewood can be purchased locally. When using the fire pit be sure that it is fully extinguished before leaving the area.
If you are staying for an extended period of time and you have more trash bags than fit into the provided trash bin on the porch, please bring your trash to the Eustis Transfer Station located on Route 16/Rangeley Road in Stratton. They are open Sun, Mon, Wed, Sat. 11am-6pm.
If there are any other damages to our home not listed here a complaint will be filed with HomeAway for additional charges.
