Great house! Centrally located
We rented this property to spend time together as a family and tour some wineries in this beautiful part of the country. The layout of the house was perfect for together time while providing for privacy as well. The house was clean, well stocked and Deborah was an attentive, thoughtful owner. Would recommend!
Very nice cottage
Very modern and clean.Everything worked well. Great water pressure!Beds were exceptionally comfortable.Layout of cottage was excellent for two couples.Downstairs had large bedroom and separate upstairs had two bedrooms and separate flat screen tv. All in all the location was good and there is a great breakfast place 2 blocks away!Would definitely stay there again.
not enough paper products for 9 people for 7 days, no laundry soap provided no dish soap just dishwasher soap ,but don't think dishwasher worked very well. Parking is problem if multiple cars streets narrow not really in "Sonoma" in Doyle Hot springs very older neighborhood not the best area, but had no problems.
I am sorry you didn't enjoy the cottage. We are permitted for 8 guests and only provide linens, dishes and supplies for 8 guests. On your reservation you only listed 8 guests which is what we can allow.
The soap dispenser at the kitchen sink is dish soap. All other dispensers in the bathroom sinks are hand soap and shower gel in the showers. We do not stock laundry soap due to issues from past guests. However, we do leave anything that guests leave behind for future guests. I am sorry that you did not communicate your issues with us during your stay as we would have been happy to bring more paper products that were needed.
We provide 3 off street parking places with 2 in front of the garage and 1 additional spot on the concreted area to the left of the garage. I am surprised these 3 spots did not provide you enough parking. As you mentioned there is street parking and the street is narrow as this area is part of the original historic vacation area. Some of the houses on this street were once a church, community center and a grocery store. It is unique but wonderful. There is still the Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa on the other side of the creek that pulls the spring water from the ground drawing many vacationers to the Boyes Hot Spring neighborhood. The Boyes Hot Spring neighborhood and many other neighborhoods are just outside Sonoma City limits but are often consider part of Sonoma since the city limits are quite small. These neighborhoods also have Sonoma as their postal city.
Even Prettier Than the Photos!
This property was even prettier than in the photos. It was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. We loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone!
This property really suited our needs while staying in Sonoma for our daughter’s wedding. Can’t really say enough about how cute the backyard is! The house was clean and comfortable, while the owners were very easy to work with! Highly recommend!
Peaceful and perfect!
We had seven friends staying in this lovely house for a friend's wedding in Sonoma. Communication with the host was very easy and all the instructions were very clear. It is a clean and well appointed house with a wonderful outdoor space that is perched over the creek below. It is so relaxing to sit outside and listen to the water. A quiet and peaceful neighborhood perfect for catching up with friends and neighborhood walks. Easy driving access to Sonoma and the surrounding wineries. Highly recommend.
Close to Bike Path that starts at the Maxwell State Park and goes East through Sonoma.
Hiking Trails in State and Regional Parks (In the hills and along the creek)
SCC is located in the heart of a historical neighborhood that was developed by San Franciscian's vacationing in Sonoma for the natural Hot Springs and bath house that was once here. Now it is called 'The Springs' and pulls tourist from all parts of the world. Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa is on the other side of the Creek where you can soak in the mineral spring water and enjoy top of the line spa services.
Just a few minutes from Downtown Sonoma there is the historic Sonoma Mission, General Vallejos House and the Depot Park Muesum which offers tours and blasts from the past.
