3 Bedroom, 2 Bath 7 Sleeps Cottage With Hot Tub
We love all the activities Bend has to offer. From skiing at Mt. Bachelor to hiking along the Deschutes to spending the day at the High Desert Museum, we enjoy taking advantage of the variety of outdoor fun there is to be had in Bend. This house is a perfect location to enjoy all those activities, while still being close to the great variety of downtown Bend restaurants. Huckleberry Cottage is named after our loveable dog, who also loves to hike and play in the snow in Bend. Enjoy your stay! Sarah and Bob, Eugene, Oregon

Huckleberry Cottage July-August 2019
Great sized property for two families and our dog. Great location. Fun bunk beds and ping pong table. The owner left wine and small toiletries for us - which is a nice touch. The only two comments I have are: The house wasn't super clean when we arrived. Cobwebs and dust on the light shades, on the return air vent, etc. Nothing major but it was unexpected. Also, no "yard" area for a dog. Some small shurbs around the hot dog but no enclosed space. Those items are small though, compared to the location and price for this sized property. We would definitely consider staying here again
Close to downtown and some great restaurants. Nice house in quiet neighborhood. Responsive property manager.
We had a great time in Bend, OR and really enjoyed our stay at Huckleberry cottage. We got the check in information plenty of time in advance for easy access to the home. I struggled with the electronic lock at first but once I figured it out it was super easy. The home was clean and well stocked with plenty of towels. The bed in the master was quite comfortable for my husband and I. Our friends slept in the front bedroom and said the bed was a little firm for them. We did not get around to enjoying the hot tub but it was in an easy location to access for those hoping to enjoy one. We spent some time on the back deck and in the living room and found it all to be clean, comfortable and an enjoyable time. There are plenty of places within close walking distance for eating and some breweries close by if that is your thing. We had dinner at Parrilla Grill, which is literally around the corner from the house. I will say when we walked by we thought it looked a little sketchy but, wow, you should definitely give it a try. For breakfast, we went to the Victorian Café (recommend!), which is across the street from Parrilla Grill and visited a burrito food truck near by one morning. Thank you for allowing us to use your home on our vacation, everything was great and we would definitely go back!
