About eileen cash
Built in the early part of the 19th century, Springdale Farm was over 200 acres. Originally owned by the Mott family and used as a grain and vegetable crop farm, it derives its name from the many artesian springs on the property that supplied water for consumption and irrigation. We have heard of people coming from miles around in years past to enjoy the reported restorative powers of these springs. The former owners told us that George Eastman (founder of Kodak) even came here on several occasions. Both of the original barns are still on the property and have been kept in very good condition. The larger of the two barns was actually moved to its present site from Palmyra, NY and reassembled. Evidence of a foundation for a silo can be seen.
eileen cash purchased this House in 1998

We had a great deal of fun staying at the house. The house has 5 bedrooms and every room has its own bathroom. We enjoyed very much.
The only minute downfall was that the drains for the sinks were very slow.
So glad you enjoyed the privacy of your own bathroom for your holiday .
My husband has fixed the sink in the towpath, thanks for letting us know .
Hope you can come again sometime
The property is well kept and is exactly as it is listed in VRBO. My family and I would be happy to stay again.
Thank you for choosing Springdale Farm. Please come again.
This property was lovely and well maintained
Seems as though the owner had a problem with me. My cousin JoAnne had previously requested permission for a family get together, which she was given. All communication going forward was with me. I am thinking maybe Ms Cash got us confused as I paid for everything
Her review of me was somewhat over the top. One of us staying here vacuumed before we left which I insisted she not do
We left the property in pristine condition other than a ton of trash. Due to Saturday family gathering and way too much food
Too bad this had to end on such a sour note with the owner
We do not allow events at our rentals. A few relatives stopping by is fine. But not a gathering of any kind. When people attend that are not guests of the property, especially when alcohol is served Is not allowed at any of my rentals. NY State has severe laws about drinking and driving.
There is also the wear and tear usage of properties facilities . The Inn is meant only for Inn’s guests.
There are many places in the area where a reunion could have occurred that are set up to serve the public.
I spoke with this guests like I do every guest before arrival. Never once was this event/gathering mentioned.
