Our family has loved this home for about 5 years and we are sure you will fall in love with it also.
Brian purchased this House in 2005
Why Brian chose Pine Bush
This house is 9 minutes from Wallkill Bethel, Watchtower Farm. 20 minutes from the Sams Point Ice Caves. 30 Minutes from Mohonk Preserve. 35 minutes from Lake Miniwaska. About 1.25 hours from Warwick & Patterson, NY. About 2hrs from New York City.
What makes this House unique
Quiet setting in the middle of nowhere but 15 min from the center of Pine Bush, NY. Each room is large and spacious. The driveway sloped down to the road so it is almost impossible to get snowed in. Our unique entry system makes it impossible to get locked out or for any previous Guest from getting back in.

Large, clean home for group stay
For the most part, the property was advertised. Large, clean, good size living space for our group. Bryon was fairly responsive and communicative (I think cell service is a bit spotty up in this area in general). However, the check in was delayed (we finally gave up and left to go to dinner), washing machine broke just before we got there (which he told me later caused the delay), and be aware that the price you see is for 6 people, if you expand up to 12 there are additional charges. But he did set up all the air mattresses and made them up for us, which made it easier for us that evening after we came back from dinner since we had to unload everything at that point since we couldn't check-in at 4pm. Overall, reasonable stay and value for price.
Beautiful and spacious home
This home is perfect for large family. The owners are great and respond immediately if you have an issue. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to New York
It was wonderful to stay in this house and observe all the wildlife outside coming out of the woods behind the house. The house was spacious and clean. We pent many quiet evenings reading in the living room and playing board games. The location is fantastic - both the beauty of the outdoors and the easy access to so many fun activities in the area. Definitely recommend the ice caves from Sam’s Point. Also, great kayaking on the Walkill River in New Paltz.
It was really close to Wallkill Bethel. Large Downstairs area for entertainment
We liked the space for 8 people and we enjoyed our short stay in the house.
Great house, great location. Lots of space.
Great Rural Property
We stayed here with our Kids and Grandkids, 9 of us including a baby. It was a great property, lots of room for the kids to run around outside. Big, Beautiful Kitchen, Lots of room.
Ice Caves are about 20 min down the road and they happen to be one of the most exciting and accessible hiking destinations in New York known as the Ice Caves in Sam’s Point Preserve, which are, thankfully, meticulously guarded by the Nature Conservancy. Containing ice caves in the depths of its crevasses, this is the greatest open fault in the United States (known geologically as the Ellenville Fault.) The strange environment consisting of globally-rare, ridge-top dwarf pines, huckleberry and blueberry fields, beautiful flowers, deep crevasses and phenomenal views seems to transport the hiker to places more arid than lush New York… perhaps the craggy, dry southwest. The 5,400 acre preserve is located atop the world-class rock climbing Shawangunk (the “Gunks”) range, which is close to the wonderful college town of New Paltz, where you can find lots of good restaurants, shopping and lodging.
