The house was nice. Great view. Very convenient. Just needs updating. Beds are horrible.
I was disappointed in this house. It is in need of updating and repairs. Beds horrible, uncomfortable, makes noise popping / cracking sounds each time you move. Very little sleep. Carpet looked dirty in living room. Looked like leaks in the ceiling of the upstairs bath rooms. Looked like mold was on them. The kitchen had mismatched chairs for dining, some with missing Cushions. The deck had a picnic table and two chairs, one of which had only three legs. Had a camera in the ceiling above the living room area, someone had put some masking tape on it to try and block it. I have photos but could not upload them to this review
The house had ample space and beds to accommodate our group; however appointments and furnishings are dated and worn for the amount of money being charged. Description did not explain the board walk pictured is for public access and not dedicated to this house, so there is constant foot traffic immediately next to the home. This does not allow for peaceful hammock time or the ease of leaving beach chairs, boards and toys under the home. It was adequate for me and 5 teenagers, but I am not certain a group of adults would have been completely satisfied unless the pricing is lowered or accommodations are updated.
Location and beach view are great! There's quite a few things that need to be attended to on this home though. First off under the house was a large pile of old wood with nails sticking out of the boards! The inside of the house really needs some fixing and updating. Ceiling is coming down in one of the bathrooms with mold on the ceiling. The floor in the dining room is buckled up. Some of the beds are very uncomfortable/hard. Overall just very cheaply built.
House was nice but in serious need of updating. Musty smell at times. Carpet in den needs replacing due to stains and cleanliness. Mattresses are terrible. Stairs from ground level to first floor are a little tricky. Steps aren't evenly spaced. As for view and beach access, it's hard to beat. We had an off-season price that couldn't be beat either. Location makes stores, restaurants very accessible.
