Vintage Fire Island beach house located in the village of Saltaire (between Kismet & Fair Harbor) on a walk with beach & bay water access. 3 bedrooms with a loft sleeps up to 9. 1 and 1/2 baths and an outdoor shower/changing room. Large, covered front porch for lounging & dining, as well as a private deck in the rear with gas BBQ, lounge chairs, and ping-pong gaming table. Property also includes a large meadow with shade trees as you own personal park!
There are no cars allowed on Fire Island. Parking is available at the Fire Island Ferry building. The house includes a fleet of 7 bikes (including a full-size tricycle with large basket), and a wagon. Home is a short walk/bike ride from the ferry dock.

About Melissa Havercroft
House has been in our family since it's existence. I have spent summers here since my first year of life. A 70 minute train ride from Manhattan, and a 20 minute ferry ride across the Great South Bay, this house has been our beach paradise for nearly 60 years!
