This property is a gem between Saratoga and Lake George. The host was organized, kind, and prompt. Also, the house was beautiful with many great places to unwind and enjoy the day. Highly recommend!
Hidden Gem in Saratoga
My group of friends started a tradition a few years ago to visit Saratoga Springs during racing season each August. Due to conflicting schedules this year, our plans were not finalized until a week before we were to leave. Searching and searching, we luckily came across this gem of a home. From the moment I had written to our host, Courtney, I immediately knew this is the one. She was accommodating to every question and request. We originally had a party of 8, but ended up just 6, but the party of 8 would have fit with room to spare. There are 2 decks both of which are conducive to relaxing, socializing, and entertaining. The bottom deck has a wonderful hot tub that soothed and relaxed us after the long day at the Track.
Location of the house is very convenient. We might not be directly in Saratoga, but that was not an issue as downtown and the Track are only minutes away.
Our host had toiletries in case we forgot something, (and really, who doesn't forget things?) and also left special treats on our beds just like the finest hotels. I cannot say enough good things about this lucky find and the only thing bad thing is that I have to wait a year to visit again.
Traci and her guests were delightful to host! I was nervous about leaving my home in the hands of strangers but those fears were instantly relieved when I returned to things exactly how I had left them. I am glad to hear that my home helped add to their vacation experience. I look forward to having Traci and her friends stay here again in the future!
