Stunning property in beautiful location

  • 4 of 5

Maison Romarin is a beautiful house with great views. Close to plenty of attractions, easy access to a supermarket ( with a car). Kitchen is well appointed, bedrooms are large and comfortable and the living area is spacious and airy. Great outside space. Perfect for a large group but we enjoyed it as a couple too! We will be coming back!😊

Beautiful, very spacious and totally relaxing

  • 5 of 5

"We booked a week away with the children as we wanted a peaceful get away that also had a lot of space for the kids to let off steam (they are 2 and 4). It could not have been better - the garden is huge and very safe, walled and gated, and inside the house there was plenty of room for all of us to do our own thing. It is beautifully decorated, plus everything that we could need was there - games, a fabulous well-equipped kitchen, real log fire etc. It felt like a home from home.

The local area is stunning. We particularly enjoyed venturing into the foothills of the pyrenees and eating out at a local restaurants that we happened across (varied from sophisticated dining to rustic, farmhouse food). Walks are stunning as are the views. Highly recommended - we will be going back!"

Fantastic Holiday

  • 5 of 5

We've recently returned from France where we had stayed at this fantastic house. The facilities are superb and the house is delightful. It is a real home from home! We had a wonderful fortnight cycling in the region with the highlight being that we watched Le Tour in Aspet! Patrick who is Maitre d' at Les Sept Moulles and is the keyholder for the house couldn't be more helpful. Make sure you pay a visit to the hotel too. The food is devine.

Bagen is a small hamlet part of the Commune of Sauveterre de Comminges in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The house is situated in a peaceful valley and is directly across the road from a very beautiful 17th Century Chateau offering spa treatments.

There is a huge amount of sightseeing in the area with both natural and man made wonders. The beautiful fortified Cathedral and Roman spa town ruins at St Bertrand de Comminges are in the next valley.

There are 3 lakes for watersports close by as well as various mountain activities up the famous Val d'Arran. The area is very popular with cyclists the Tour de France comes through this area every year without fail....

Plenty of Golf Courses are within easy reach the closest less than twenty minutes drive. There are two separate ski resorts within half an hours driving including Luchon as well as a huge number of other family activities remember Spain is under half an hour away.
