WE STILL HAVE JULY 4TH. WEEKEND AVAILABLE!!

Watch the elk wander by in your private loft cabin in the woods! Cozy up to the roaring fire in the large fire pit or soak your cares away in the gazebo hot tub after a day of skiing at Crystal Mountain or hiking around Mt. Rainier. Feel free to explore the new addition to the yard, our teepee. It has 2 queen beds and is available first come first serve for camping out under the stars for an additional $40/stay. It must be reserved in conjunction with the rental of either of our cabins. As most teepees, it is not water-proof and in case of rain you may get wet.

About Tamara

My family and I have enjoyed the many outdoor activities that this area has to offer. The mountains and wildlife are beautiful and a joy to explore.

Tamara purchased this cabin in 2012

Why Tamara chose Enumclaw

Watch the elk wander by, sit and warm yourself by the large firepit on cool evenings or take a short walk to the river and relax.

What makes this cabin unique

We love to have family gatherings around the firepit, playing in the snow or hiking amongst the beautiful wildflowers. The Rainier Gondola at Crystal Mountain offers some of the most spectacular views of Mt. Rainier and offers wonderful dinner dining during the summer months.

Beautiful wooded cottage stay

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at the Eagles Nest!! Such an accommodating home away from home! The owner even volunteered fresh eggs so we made brownies for our vacation to Mt Rainier. Our place had everything we needed and we loved the jacuzzi and seeing the local elk. Gotta do the trail of the patriarchs in Mt Rainier National Park! Would definitely come again and bring everything for campfire dinner and s'mores. Thanks so much!!

Place was NOT provisioned for a 17 Hr Power Outage!!

  • 1 of 5

Lovely little cabin. Needs to be clear that 'between' seasons there isnt much for supplies in Greenwater. When the power went out less than 24hours after we checked in, there were very few supplies in the Greenwater area to make up for a dead flashlight and tealight candles only WITHOUT MATCHES supplied with the cabin. On Tuesday, two nights in on a four night anniversary vacation, we went in to Greenwater for a hot meal at Naches Pub and Grill at 1:00pm. They weren't open until 3:00pm. At that point, we packed up and went home! (We live in Tumwater, WA). It was our 25th Wedding Anniversary after getting engaged on Mt. Rainier at Snow Lake. We finished our Anniversary in Tumwater at our home!!!

Owner's Response: Janice, I'm so sorry that the power went out during your stay! Unfortunately I have no control over these types of events. The cabin is provided with emergency candles, lighter (in the kitchen drawer) and a flashlight. I came over to check on you and found your husband sitting comfortably in front of the gas fireplace. I asked if you guys needed anything, extra flashlights, candles, etc. and he stated that you had it handled. I told him that I lived next door and if he needed anything to let me know. The gas fireplace provides heat during outages and the gas stove works for cooking as well as the gas BBQ. Power outages can be uncomfortable for some, but I find them as an opportunity to unplug, light some candles and spend some quality time playing games with my family. Again, I am sorry that the power went out during your stay. Tamara

Peace and Solitude

  • 4 of 5

Overall the rental was an excellent place to stay for our vacation. Close to the mountains for great hiking and still close enough to Enumclaw for stores and such. Made frequent trips to Wapati Woolies for their great coffee nook and sales. The little General Store folks were very personable and provided local information. Enumclaw had great eateries for coffee, breakfast (Kettles) and dinner (Griffen and Ware). No one was renting the adjacent property (Elk Crossing) so we were able to have the entire area to ourselves....enjoyed the hot tub every night and saw elk several times.

The only tricky part was heating with the gas fireplace...it did not always work when set on the temperature setting and we did find the note that did tell us how to manually run the unit.

Great place and we definitely will be coming back!!!!!!

The cabin was lovely, with a great hot tub and Rainier hiking a short drive down the road. I'd definitely come here again.

It was such a lovely stay

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for three nights and we had a absolute great time. The cabin was so warm and cozy. Tamara really made us comfortable and offered us fresh chicken eggs from her chickens and gave us good direction for hiking. The cabin was equipped with everything and was very clean. We definitely would stay again and can't wait to. Thank you Tamara for everything.

In the unlikely event that you may have to cancel your reservation, you may reschedule it at a later date and may have to pay more because of the higher season rate. There is a $50 re-booking fee to do that.

If you cannot reschedule then you will loose the entire amount of your booking unless we can re-book your dates. In that case there is also a $50 re-booking fee, plus you will be responsible for the days we cannot rent.

Also available for an additional $40/stay is our teepee. It has two queen size beds and is not totally waterproof, so if it rains you could get wet, just like the Indians! The teepee must be reserved with the cabin at time of booking.
